Excellent and stylish hotel! Friendly reception staff who speak Russian and checked us in early. Cozy rooms. Excellent and tasty breakfast. And overall a good restaurant at the hotel. The only downside is that they did not allow you to drink your own alcohol in the hotel courtyard. It was not like they came up to you and forbade it. I asked myself if I could bring my own Baileys and take glasses with ice from them, but the hotel manager said that this was prohibited. Which seemed strange to me, since I have not encountered this in other hotels.
I have only good things to say about this hotel, my only caveat being that (like most tourists) I used it mostly as a place to sleep.
The location is absolutely perfect, right in the middle of everything in Tbilisi. I didn't try the breakfast but it looked good, and is served till 11am which is handy if you've been out till late the night before. The vibe is fresh, with some bold design touches. Everyone at Reception was friendly and spoke good English. The room was clean, with ample lighting. The bed was fine, and not too soft. There were two complimentary bottles of water, and they got replenished every day. I did have a problem with the quilt being too hot at night, but I have this problem with quilts in hotels generally (and I'm sure they'd have changed it if I had asked).
I stayed 4 nights and one of those happened to be my birthday. I obviously didn't mention it to anyone, but when I came back to the room that evening I found a complimentary slice of cake from the hotel, with 'Happy birthday' written in chocolate! I thought that was a lovely gesture.
A good small city hotel. Conveniently located. The room is cozy, with everything you need. Excellent breakfast with local dishes and products.
Good SPA in the hotel. I liked the sauna and jacuzzi with warm water in the pool - it really helps to relax after a day of sightseeing.
The staff is friendly and always ready to help.
The location is good. It is in the old district. By 10 minutes walk, you can go to a main metro station. The breakfast is good and the room is spacious.
I recently stayed at the River Side Hotel in Tbilisi, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is ideal, situated along the banks of the river, providing stunning views and easy access to major attractions.
The room was spacious and well-appointed, with modern amenities and comfortable furnishings. The bed was particularly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I appreciated the attention to detail, from the cleanliness to the thoughtful decor.
The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with recommendations or any requests I had. The hotel also offered a lovely breakfast with a variety of options, which was a great way to start my day.
Overall, I highly recommend the River Side Hotel for anyone visiting Tbilisi. It combines comfort, excellent service, and a prime location, making it a perfect choice for travelers.
I happened to pass by and the hotel looked good, so I canceled my original reservation and stayed there. The breakfast is very good and the restaurant interior is luxurious.
The room was in good condition, but there was a bit of noise because it was close to the road. I went because they said the swimming pool was open until 12 o'clock.
I was a little taken aback when I heard that it would finish at 11:30 while I was using it. Other than that, everything was satisfactory.
My wife and I stayed for a week, we really liked everything, the service is so thought out to the smallest detail that you immediately pay attention to it, cleaning twice a day with compliments, a toilet using Japanese technology, the belt is always tucked into the robe, good internet and of course, great breakfasts!
Wwpcoco33You need to walk a step to arrive, the hotel will send someone to help with your luggage, the facilities in the room are average, a bottle of water per person is provided, and a bottle is charged 5 lire. There are fewer varieties of breakfast. There are many antique collections in the public area, which can help guests make simple explanations. The open-air swimming pool is located high and has a good view.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the city center, facing the Parliament Building. The building is old and distinctive, but the furnishings in the hotel are a bit old, the bathroom in the room only has a bathtub, the shower and bathtub are together, not separated, the shower head leaks, and the indoor supporting facilities are not like those of a five-star hotel.
