I traveled alone.. I could use the terrace and there was a window sofa on the terrace window, so it was romantic.. The large tile bathroom was also clean.. I felt like it was a bit excessive for $35.. So I asked to extend my stay for one more day, but they charged me $135, so I checked out without a second thought. Haha

Wpuld not book again! Arrived at the hotel to find the room we booked wasnt available, we wore taken to our downgraded room. The room was terrible, hair on the floor from god knows who and the room smelt extremely bad especially in the bathroom. The matress was as hard as rocks and tiny. We decided to leave and checkout the next morning to move hotels... we wornt even asked on checking out early for a reason as if the staff knew the hotel was a shambles. We didnt even bother to ask for a refund and we just left. Terrible hotel and for a supposedly three star facility?? I would rate it more like a one star facility.

Perfect location. Friendly staff. Got a early check-in. Good breakfast timing. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds. Amazing Wi-Fi. Overall this is a nice place to visit if you come with friends or family, they have amazing staff that is very helpful.

A good healthy breakfast was served every morning. The staff was attentive to maintenance issues and fixed problems. The hotel was quiet and in a good and safe neighbourhood for walking and shopping. The condition of the hotel could use some updating. The doors don't close very well, the maids don't clean the rooms well. The walls, furniture and carpets were not very clean in our room.

Old world charm , newer renovations inside . Outside of hotel needs work. Lots run down. The people were friendly and helpful, tons of history in the area. Outside to many wild dogs need to constantly watch we’re you want. “Might step in something left by the dogs”

This review is for the "Small Double Room" that we stayed at. We booked 3 of such rooms for a party of 6 (ie. 2 to a room). These rooms are situated on the ground floor and are so tiny that there isn't even any space for our luggage. The main area outside our rooms was very small, and it was very noisy late at night when guests came back and climbed up the stairs (there's no lift!). The plumbing system in one of the rooms was faulty and a bad sewerage smell engulfed the whole room. The staff was nice enough to accommodate 2 of us in another room for the night because they happened to have a spare room available. The hotel is a boutique hotel, and hence, there is a kind of quirkiness to it, which was the main reason we had booked to stay here. Unfortunately, the rate they charged for the Small Double Room that we booked was exorbitant compared to the condition of the rooms. Perhaps the bigger rooms upstairs are better and mor proportionate to the rates. We cannot say for sure. However, for those who have a lot of luggage (we had our ski equipment etc), this is definitely not the hotel for you due to the small space and the fact that there isn't any lift in the building! The staff, however, were excellent and very accommodating.
