We stayed at Hotel Shine Palace for 2 nights and overall had a comfortable experience. The room was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The twin beds were comfortable, and basic amenities were in place.
The hotel being alcohol-free and offering private parking was a big plus for us. It's ideal for families or travelers who prefer a quiet and respectful environment. The on-site restaurant was convenient, though the menu could use a bit more variety.
The check-in and check-out process was smooth. Staff were polite and responsive, though some improvement in English communication would enhance the guest experience for international travelers.
Great value for the price (AED 198.86 for 2 nights), especially considering the location and overall cleanliness. Would recommend it for short stays or business travelers looking for a quiet, budget-friendly option.
Suggestions: Adding more lighting in the room and offering complimentary water bottles would be a nice touch.

The hotel refused to book us because the room we wanted was not available, but trip.com did not refund our money.

The hotel is good for its price, friendly administrator, spacious room. Of the minuses, there were noisy neighbors, and the hair dryer did not work. We decided not to go to breakfast.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the view from the hotel was great. There was a bottle of body soap in the shower room.

Please stay away. Hotel is located 10 metro stations away from the city centre, super close to a highway. There is no option of leaving the window open, as the noise can be heard even when it's closed. Air conditioning does not work. There is no way of changing the temperature. Ours got stuck at 22 and it was OKish. Other guests traveling in our group staying at the 6th floor said it was around 28 and the water was constantly flowing down the wall. Rooms are tiny and in general look like nothing has been done in them since the 80s. Toilet stinks and even though our room got cleaned 2 times (we stayed there 4 nights), I don't believe it got washed with some kind of chemical even once (also before or after our stay). Staff at the reception communicates with grunting. No full words (forget sentences) in English or Russian were heard. Staff in the kitchen was late with our breakfast EVERY SINGLE TIME. They literally started preparing it when the group came downstairs and showed up at the door. Breakfast is dull and very, very simple. It was even hard to get water hot enough for tea to brew. In general - stay away. I have no idea why our tour operator decided to choose this hotel, but if you want to rest in peace and comfortable conditions, you should look for something else.

Considering the price, it's not a bad hotel. It's not far from the metro and bus stops, there are shops and a gym nearby. You can walk to the Akhmetali metro station where there is a shopping center, a cinema, and McDonald's nearby. The staff speaks international languages and is ready to help with almost any questions.
