Ethnograph Hotel Old Tbilisi

The hotel fully met my expectations. Very clean, comfortable rooms and pleasant staff. The photos are completely true. It's nice when people treat their work with dedication and responsibility.

Horrible hotel, cold small damp room. Not in the photo. Booked through booking, the manager called, said that the room is warm, I said my nose has already become cold, he tells me to prove it. Of course I got angry, then they did not want to give me the passport. They started yelling and screaming that we insulted them. Then there was an attack on my card to write off the payment. It's good that there are restrictions on payments on the Internet. Avoid this snake pit!

Apart from a bed and a shower with a toilet, I didn't find anything that I read in the reviews. If you have a suitcase, there's nowhere to put it. The hotel doesn't serve breakfast. The shower doesn't have a door and all the water flows onto the floor. It's impossible to dry a towel. It's also a problem to air out the room. The room is on the first floor and the window naturally has thick curtains. It's good that I stayed for 45 hours. Two nights and one suffered.

The worst trip to Tbilisi. I was on a business trip and booked the Ethnograph Hotel. I chose it based on the interior photos. Upon arrival, the administrator told me that my company had booked me a more comfortable room in the neighboring building. Later, it turned out that my company had not done this, and the hotel had no free rooms. The room I was accommodated in turned out to be much worse than the ones in the photos. With a bad interior, poor cleaning. In addition, in these apartments, there is a bar next door, where every night until 3 a.m. VERY loud music plays, which can be heard as if it is happening in the room itself. It turned out that such situations happen periodically, and those who book the Ethnograph Hotel end up in other neighboring hotels. Moreover, when booking the Ethnograph Hotel, this is not discussed in advance. Conversations with the hotel owner (who turned out to be another person) did not lead to any result. As a result, all the days of the business trip I could not fall asleep until 3 a.m. Also, the Wi-Fi in the room was poor. At the same time, in the conversation, the manager claimed that the conditions in this hotel were no worse than those stated in the Ethnograph hotel itself and refused to make a refund.
