Quinta do Caracol in Tavira is a very nice place to stay. The houses in a traditional Portuguese setting are surrounded by a lovely garden. Supermercados close by as well as the station. The staff is friendly. An excellent breakfast is seved.

Our stay was very pleasant. The staff treated us very well and made us feel at home. The Araucaria casita was very nice and cozy, the breakfasts and the staff who prepared them are great, and the place and surroundings are fantastic. We spent a few spectacular days as a couple. We will definitely return.

Amazing in the room Glicina Great breakfast, recomanded. Very good emplacement for visiting Tavira. A delightfull orange juice.Quinta do caracole is near from the center of the town,you don t need to mode you car to go to the old roman bridge

Super gemütliche Anlage mit 9 Unterkünften, vielen Bäumen und Pflanzen. Das Zimmer, oder besser Studio ist gross und hat eine Küchenecke mit allen notwendigen Kleinigkeiten, damit man nicht immer auswärts essen muss. Es ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und vermittelt eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse war sehr lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich. Wir konnten sogar einen Sonnenschirm für den Strand ausleihen. Es liegt am Rande der Stadt, das Zentrum ist aber zu Fuss erreichbar, parkieren direkt in der Anlage. Wir können das Quinta do Caracol sehr empfehlen! Markus & Claudia

La chambre ( plutôt studio) était spacieuse, aménagée dans une ancienne grande ferme, pleine d’authenticité. Bonne isolation acoustique et bonne situation à l’entrée de Tavira, loin du bruit du centre malgré tout accessible à pied. Superbe petit déjeuner, salé et sucré. Et en plus l’accueil est chaleureux. Endroit parfait pour se reposer et explorer l’est de l’Algarve.

What a wonderful treat to visit Tavira and stay at this lovely quinta! We were so happy with the peaceful atmosphere and lush greenery we would absolutely stay here again. While not in the middle of town we found that to be a plus as it was a very short walk to the town center. The rooms are super charming and the owners (two sisters) are so helpful and nice! The pool was very refreshing on a hot August day and we found it more relaxing to hang out by the pool than go to the beach lol. Highly recommend a stay at Quinta do Caracol - you will love it!

Todo un descubrimiento. No tengo dudas de que volveré porque nos encantó, la habitación super grande y comodísima. El trato del personal no pudo ser mejor, ayudando en todo. El desayuno estaba riquísimo, super sencillo con producto local y de calidad, y encima a diez minutos del centro de Tavira. Un lugar maravilloso.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich auf dem Gelände eines ehemaligen Bauernhofs. Die Häuschen sind liebevoll saniert und eingerichtet. Das Gelände bietet eine grüne Oase inkl. Pool und Tennisplatz. Frühstück kann wahlweise drinnen oder draussen eingenommen werden.

When looking for a long get away weekend in Tavira, we always choose this property. It is a unique and beautiful oasis within a 10-minute walk to the town center. The sisters and their staff do an amazing job. We love the breakfast with eggs made to order. Enjoy!
