Check in was smooth and quick but changed room twice to get everything right. Our first room had urine stains on the toilet, which means this room was not properly cleaned up. That was terribly disgusting to find these spots. Also, the smart TV in the first room didn't work. Our second room was find but has no bathtub as requested. Changed to the third room and finally get the okay one with great AC, working TV and cleanness. It was our first time stayed in a 5-star hotel in NZ and was surprised the standard is quite low compared to the other 5 stars in Asia. Has small heated pool accommodating 6 people max. Swimming pool and sauna were fine but steam room didn't work. Service okay and great breakfast. Will consider the other place next time.

Comfortable and premium accommodation option at this area! Excellent breakfast (ala carte and buffet) options were served. Only downsides were, toiletries have to be manually requested, and that the view was rather misleading.

Absolutely loved this hotel!! The pool area was amazing and the one bed king apartment was such an incredible amount of space.

Service is great but the TV in the room need fixing and so does the casting availability.

I wanted to give a higher rating because the hotel bathroom has floor heating and heated towel racks, as well as a pretty good gym and jacuzzi. But in fact, the shower booth should be cleaned carefully to remove the stains.

The room is very spacious. Although the tables, chairs and sofas are a bit old, it does not affect the use and comfort. I especially want to praise the sanitation of the washing machine, which is the cleanest among all the hotel apartments I have stayed in during my stay in North Island and South Island! The hotel is a renovation of a retro old villa. The facilities inside are complete and relatively new. The bedding is soft and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and equipped with floor heating. The hotel also has a hot spring swimming pool. In the evening, you can enjoy the excellent sunset view in the restaurant. The hotel is also close to the city. It is very good and recommended to stay.
