La casa es muy bonita y cuenta con buenos espacios comunes, pero el acceso es muy dificulto, algo que no nos avisaron. Durante cinco días tuvieron que venir tres veces a resolver problemas básicos de habitabilidad,(duchas atascadas e inservibles asomando material fecal, olor a alcantarilla , un cama se le cayó el somier y no se pudo usar esa noche...) sin ofrecer ninguna compensación económica; solo nos facilitaron otro alojamiento los últimos dos días . Pese a haber pagado por una casa supuestamente preparada, la incomodidad y la incertidumbre marcaron toda la estancia."

I want to thank wonderful Hurricane hotel staff for sending over our antique walking stick which we had to leave at hotel and they kindly organised delivery of it to England. Hotel is great and we will definitely come back soon. Spain is a beautiful country and the area was very clean and safe. Hotel Hurricane is the Best! Wij hebben hier twee nachten gelogeerd omdat mijn partner dit adres waar hij vroeger wel eens tijdens zakenreizen logeerde nog een keer wilden bezoeken. Wij hadden een fijne en ruime suite met twee kleine badkamers. Prachtig uitzicht over de tuin met het zwembad. Het was erg fris tijdens ons bezoek, maar we konden onze eigen open haard branden en in de lounge en het restaurant brandde het vuur altijd. Dit is geen luxe adres en het heeft slechts twee sterren, maar het is wel heel leuk. Je moet er een beetje doorheen kijken en bepaalde dingen voor lief nemen zoals een stukje hygiëne op de kamers. Het is allemaal heel simpel. Wat wel mooi is zijn de publieke ruimten. Overal nog de authentieke meubelen, lampen en prachtige Marokkaanse posters die de eigenaren destijds uit Marokko meegenomen hadden meegenomen waar ze ook een hotel in Tanger hadden. Erg leuke details. Het restaurant is van recentere datum en is keurig ingericht en zelfs nog wel een soort van romantisch te noemen. Wij hebben daar twee avonden heerlijk gegeten. Leuke wijnkaart. Alles heel betaalbaar. Overdag kun je in een zelfservice chiringito aan zee eten. Zomers moet de tuin een plaatje zijn. Het misschien beter om een kamer aande zeekantvte kiezen ivm het geluid van de weg. De t****e nacht heb ik slecht geslapen omdat het leek of men vergeten was de geluidsboxen op het buitenterras uit te zetten. Of het moet van een naburige camping gekomen zijn, maar het leek heel dichtbij. Wij vonden de bediening verder allemaal erg aardig. Tarifa is trouwens een erg leuk, oud en gezellig vestingstadje met veel, leuke boetiekjes, barretjes en restaurants. Misschien komen we hier nog eens terug…

Wow,what a stunning place and location . We loved our special birthday stay. The service was excellent , ensuring the hotel is calm and restful. The meals were delicious with assistance with dietary requirements. Our room was lovely, even though the plumbing was a little tricky. The pools looked stunning but we would have liked them a little warmer . We will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

Pelas fotos e o preço e pela altura estávamos á espera de um hotel moderno e no mínimo limpo, encontramos um quarto muito mas muito velho, o ar condicionado não trabalhava, liguei o ar condicionado e tava cheio de pó, embora não fizesse nem frio nem quente, ele ligava e abria , tava cheio de pó , dava para ver que já meses e Meses que não via um pano, o próprio quarto via-se que só era limpo á frente dos olhos, muita falta de Limpeza

The Hurricane Hotel enjoys a spectacular location on the sea with beautifully cared for grounds to match. The dinner service in particular is excellent- the grilled meats are beautifully prepared, and the service is excellent. The staff at the hotel is so friendly and welcoming. Everything they do is done with a smile. All in all, this is a place in which many thoughtful details make you feel well cared for. It is a comfortable welcoming place and the value is excellent.

The hotel and surroundings are beautiful. Gardens, 2 pools, gym, ocean/beach. Food is amazing and service is outstanding. Staff are so friendly and professional. Fireplace was lite every night in a very cozy lounge. We didn’t want to leave and would definitely come back if we are ever near this area again. Great spot to stay for a day trip to Tangier, Morocco. This is a hidden gem.

We enjoyed 24 wonderful hours at The Hurricane Hotel with friends this week. Our room was so comfortable with full bathroom and coffee making facilities. We had a wonderful beach walk after lunch. In the evening, we sat by the fireside before a pleasant dinner in the dining room. I cannot wait to return.
