Not really sure where to start! The whole experience has left me doubting my sanity. Check in - starts at 3pm but unable to gain access until 3.45pm due to cleaning; floor still wet on entry, resulting in 3 attempts to check in. Room - no mattress on the cabana, minibar consisted on 2 bottles of water, sofa rear support was broken. Hotel amenities - truly lovely, pool is amazing, reception central courtyard is stunning. Views down to the beach are outstanding. Skybar was closed. Food - very good standard although I would avoid the half board as very limited option. Breakfast provided a very wide ranging excellent buffet. Service - best described as awkward. As an example, I asked for some ice for room & informed it was not possible but then next day an ice bucket turns up. I believe a lot of this is down to the individual staff. Looked to have a late check out and despite a delayed check in, late check out was €10 an hour. Hoping the items above can be addressed and make this an excellent experience. Unable to recommend a stay at present

Great location, fairly priced. Service inconsistent, with some staff very friendly/helpful and some completely uninterested in working. Breakfast buffet cannot manage high occupancy. No towels provided for bidet. Bar/pool area with loud music makes it impossible for peaceful lounging or listening to one's own music. Water softener is on too strong and makes it difficult (wasteful) to rinse off soap.

This hotel really is a little bit of tranquil paradise. It never feels too busy and has the most beautiful pool area surrounded by palm trees that you won’t want to leave. The relaxed bar is right next to this for drinks and food. The best rooms are the garden rooms that are literally steps from the pool from your private terrace. The amazing Zahara beach is only a short walk away. From the garden rooms you can hear the waves at night. The hotel is not walkable to the town so you will have to drive in but actually dinner at the hotel is great and relaxed if you can’t be bothered with parking/taxis. We booked to stay for one night and ended up staying for 3!

we have been to this hotel several times, as a couple and with family, and every time we get the same exceptional service. On this occasion we arrived a day after the forest fires in the area had been extinguished, and as expected there was ash flying everywhere. However the staff were constantly cleaning (cleaning staff, waiters, maintenance people) and keeping the place as clean as possible whilst at the same time taking care of customers. A big thank you to all the staff who again made our family holidays so special.

This hotel exceeded all expectations — from its stunning location with sea, garden, and mountain views to the delicious food and incredibly warm, welcoming staff. The variety of pools, including some with breathtaking views, made each day feel special. The beautifully kept gardens, spacious sun loungers, and Balinese beds created the perfect atmosphere for total relaxation. Also, the opportunity to have a massage, spa area… The cortijo never felt crowded thanks to the generous space and peaceful surroundings. A truly serene and luxurious place to relax and recharge. The place is amazing — from the location and food to the incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating people. There are several pools, including two with stunning views. The expansive gardens, sun loungers, and Balinese beds create a perfect setting for relaxation. The resort never feels crowded thanks to the abundance of space where you can soak up the sun in peace.
