Hotel has a spectacular view. It’s at the very top so it takes longer to get to and from town but If you like to walk stairs and see wonderful views, this is a great place. The hotel itself is a bit dated in style, but There are pockets of contemporary features throughout as well. The hotel was very clean and everyone was very accommodating and extremely friendly. Common terraces and the restaurant are superb. The pool is very small and outdated.

Tremendous view from room, restaurant of Mt. Etna (it was clear one night and we could see eruptions) , Taormina and Ionian sea.
Excellent, gracious service in hotel and restaurant.
Our deluxe double bedroom was a little small, but there was an extensive drawers in the alcove closet area. the bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Street parking is free but and is in most of Italy, challenging. Only tiny plunge pool.
Pistachio crusted lamb excellent, Other meal and Breakfast had a nice variety and was good.

We spent our honeymoon week here and the hotel, food and service was just impeccable, with a special mention to Max Sallo our waiter. We loved the parmigiana and canollis at breakfast. A great base to explore Taormina and the wider region. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Great hotel with stunning views of the coast and mount Etna. The staff we met were all very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was delicious and very nicely presented and the views and atmosphere made every meal special. This was a trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we had a lovely time. The shuttle service to and from the main town was excellent.

Dit is een super mooie plek om te dineren en om te verblijven. Lief personeel en een grandioos uitzicht 🥰♥️🙏🏼. Max is een goede gastheer. We hebben hier in de middag lekker kunnen lunchen. De auto kan hier ook geparkeerd worden. Echt een aanrader

My husband and I love the Hotel Ducale! Our room was A-mazing; the view: one of the best we've ever had. What really made our stay was the incredible staff: Giulana, Santina, Giulano, Massimo, Daniel, and Francesco! They always greeted us with a smile and were always happy to assist with directions, restaurant reservations, etc. The restaurant served a terrific breakfast with an awesome view. Both of the dinners we had at Ristorante @ Villa Ducale were delicious! If ever we're back toTaormina, we'd definitely stay there again.
