Abbiamo avuto in regalo uno Smartbox e abbiamo scelto di riposarci per due notti a Taormina e, a naso, senza conoscerla, abbiamo scelto Villa Greta. E' stata una sorpresa piacevole trovare un personale così straordinariamente gentile, preparato e sempre a disposizione dei clienti da farmi dimenticare la difficoltà di muovermi agevolmente per le scale, si perchè la struttura di villa Greta è disposta su più piani e quindi non favorevole ai miei problemi dovuti all'età non più verde. Vi assicuro che la cucina è ottima e il panorama che spazia tra il bianco della neve sull'Etna e l'azzurro del mare vi affascina totalmente. Fidatevi ma....se le gambe fanno cilecca pensateci e valutate se è il caso di rinunciare ad un Hotel che vi offre un panorama unico immerso nel verde e ad un personale sempre disponibile e pronto a soddisfare ogni vostro bisogno. Io ho rischiato e sono felice dell'esperienza fatta....

Accueil parfait. Personnel très gentil. Une personne est venue chercher nos bagages à l’arrivée. Vue magnifique. La chambre était extrêmement propre comme la salle de bain. L’accès à Taormine se fait en moins de 10 min à pied (par des escaliers) Attention cet hôtel ne convient pas aux personnes à mobilité réduite.

I stayed at the Hotel Villa Greta from August 16th to 21st with my wife and daughter. They were not days spent in one of those cold and formal hotels but days spent with "family". It was a confirmation of what I had already felt from the first email contacts, had months before during the booking phase. 1) location: stunning location, an unparalleled panorama overlooking Etna and the Naxos gardens. In the evening, you could see the lights of the city of Catania and Syracuse. Both early in the morning and in the evening you could not help but spend time on the veranda admiring the beauty of this immensity that transmitted peace and serenity to us, all surrounded by a deep silence; 2) Staff: we were treated with kindness (you could feel it, it wasn't just related to a mere job they did, but it came from their way of being "that is, how to make a "family member" feel good"); discretion, maximum collaboration in meeting our every need, even the unexpected, worthy of such a lovely and familiar land as Sicily. A heartfelt thanks to Cristina, Salvo, Ranidu, Rosalba, the chef Alessandro and all the rest of the staff that we didn't get to know; 3) rooms: clean, tidy and smelled good every day. In the evening when we returned it felt like we were coming home; 4) cuisine: also in this case we enjoyed the flavors of beautiful Sicily, thanks to dishes prepared with care and love. Flavors coming from fresh products and ingredients. Indescribable willingness to change some dishes, both for reasons related to some allergies of my wife, and to the fact that both my wife and my daughter particularly love fish and vegetables; 5) activities: I had with me a program of things to see and do, but thanks to the advice daily, efficient and punctual staff, we optimized everything, managing to do in just 4 full days, a holiday with cultural visits, 2 days at the beach, excursions, shopping, all despite some unforeseen weather. We were even told which places to taste some typical Sicilian dishes and products (pastries, rotisseries, bars etc..); In short, when you travel with your family, the needs and requests that could be made can be many and we have never received a "it can't be done" or "now I see" or a "doubtful face" but always and only "certainly" or "of course". I believe that spending those much desired days of vacation with "family" is the absolute best vacation you can have. Thanks again from the heart to Hotel Villa Greta and all its dear staff. MM

Wir hatten eine Juniorsuite mit eigener Terrasse gebucht. Einfach ein Traum, Herrliche Betten, wunderschönes Bad, und eine riesige Terrasse mit Blick auf den Ätna und das Meer. Auf der Terrasse standen zwei LIegen, sowie eine Doppelsonnenliege mit Dach und Vorhang. Ferner noch ein Tisch zwei Sessel und kleiner Couch. Einfach super. Der Empfang super freundlich, man sprach sogar deutsch. Wir konnten auch schon früher in unser Zimmer. Beim Koffertragen, wurde direkt geholfen, da einige Treppen zu überwältigen sind. Das Frühstück ausgezeichnet, mit Warmspeisen, süßem Gebäck und alles selbst hergestellt. Toll. Wir hatten Glück, und haben einen Parkplatz auf der Straße ergattert, was wohl in der Hauptsession schwierig sein wird. Das Hotel liegt oberhalb von Taormina, ist aber durch eine Treppe hinab in fünf Minuten zu bewältigen, allerdings nach dem Abendessen, kommt man etwas aus der Puste, die Treppen wieder nach oben zu schaffen. Uns hat es nichts ausgemacht. Ein Bus fährt allerdings auch direkt bis vor das Hotel. Wir würden diese Unterkunft immer wieder buchen, alleine schon wegen der so herzlichen freundlichen Mitarbeiter, ob Hausmeister, Büro, Küche oder Reinigspersonal alle so herzlich und freundlich.

Siamo stati a villa Greta per un week-end,complimenti a tutto lo staff per la gentilezza e cordialita.Vista bellissima il vulcano e il mare con un colpo d'occhio,spettacolare. Le colazioni ottime e per tutti gusti.Complimenti.
