The room was nice, a little empty, but the king-size bed was made of two mattresses put together, which I didn't like. The hotel bar was in a great location, with a beautiful view and good drinks. The overall service was very warm, but one staff member at the reception made me feel uncomfortable. When I wanted to book a shuttle bus, he repeatedly emphasized that this service was only for guests staying in the hotel, but I had clearly told him that I was staying in the hotel. I'm not sure if his repeated emphasis was based on me being Asian or based on my sloppy dressing, which made me feel uncomfortable. I hope to strengthen employee training.
