Nice and clean room and bath room with a sea view balcony. Friendly and helpful staff, we also liked the breakfast with different options :-) - we used the balcony a lot, and was very happy with that one! If you are going to Taormina, we could absolutely recommend Hotel Continental. Good location !

Albergo sopra il Corso principale di Taormina con posizione invidiabile ed una stupenda terrazza dove si fa colazione o si prende un aperitivo con vista Etna e Baia di Naxos. Stanze rinnovate da poco con letti comodi, silenziose, buon confort termico. Bagni ampi con doccia nuova. Colazione con ampia scelta di prodotti dolci e salati

As soon as we arrived at this hotel we felt at home. The young lady at reception was so friendly and welcoming. We were a group of six ladies and we were given 3 superior rooms all right next to each other. All the rooms had a lovely sized balcony which accommodated all 6 of us. The rooms were a good size and very clean. We had breakfast everyday at the hotel which at 12 euros was excellent value. The staff at breakfast were lovely and very attentive to our needs. We had lunch on the terrace when we arrived and it has a lovely view of Mount Etna. Due to bad weather we ended up staying in one evening and had food and cocktails in the sky bar. It was lovely and again the staff were really nice and friendly. The location of the hotel is brilliant, you walked through the garden and straight on to the Main Street with its many shops and restaurants. We were also able to get the bus to Castelmola just outside the hotel. I’m really glad we chose this hotel and would definitely recommend it.

Excellent hôtel, les chambres sont spacieuses, les lits très confortables, la propreté irréprochable, sa situation géographique exceptionnelle (à 2 minutes de la rue principale de Taormina et de la cathédrale). Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable, une mention particulière pour Dario et Sabina. Le petit déjeuner est incroyable, du vrai bon café italien, uniquement des produits frais et des spécialités siciliennes : fruits de saison, Ricotta, canoli…Merci à toute l’équipe du petit déjeuner, une expérience fabuleuse.

Loved our stay here and hotel upgrade surpassed our expectation's. Breakfast was wonderful as were all the staff. Views from the Skybar were super. The only negative was the noise early in the morning of the bins being collected nearby but that was not a reflection on this hotel.

First, I would like to compliment Sabrina at the front desk, who helped us find our way to the hotel from Mount Etna as our GPS was sending us in circles, she was patient and helpful and just beyond friendly.
The entire staff, we’re all beyond friendly and helpful.
The rooms are nice, nothing over the top, but very clean and accommodating.
The Terrace is what makes this whole entire hotel as you can sit out on the terrace and have dinner and cocktails and overlook the entire Mediterranean, Taormina and Mount Etna in the distance.
We will return one day and stay here if the opportunity comes our way again

Hotel Continental
2 night stay in Taormina at the end of our Sicily trip. Room was clean and comfortable. The only issue is the water coming from the bathroom sink stunk of sulphur. The shower water did not smell. Otherwise, the location was perfect. Conveniently located near Corso Umberto!
