Megami No yu Iris Park

A little expensive for the services but this is normal because the kumano kodo is very popular. There is a provision of shared showers with a bath. The campsite is close to the kumano kodo path which makes it a pleasant stop.

I stayed at this lodge on my way to Kumano Hongu, departing at 6am the next day after walking along the Kumano Kodo trail from Takijiri-oji. Having walked from Takijiri-oji to Chikatsuyu-oji and seen the Chikatsuyu village, the distance to the campsite was a challenge for me. However, it was close to the departure point the next day, so it wasn't a problem. There is also a hot spring at the campsite, which guests can enter for free. It was the thickest hot spring I have ever experienced, and it felt really good.

The hot springs are good, the boss's attitude is average, there is no breakfast or dinner, maybe because it is mainly a camping site, it is far from the town, breakfast is very troublesome, the highlight is the hot springs

The room is a stand-alone building with Japanese tatami. There is only a toilet in the room, and the bath is in the hot spring next to it. The environment is beautiful, and there is a camping site next to it where you can have a bonfire. It is a 20-minute walk from Jinlu Prince and the station, and a 1-hour walk from Jisakura Prince, and a 50-minute return. Dinner is only instant noodles, but it tastes good
