We held a wake for our mum after a memorial service and we were all extremely impressed with the respectful nature of the staff. The buffet was very good and the room was just perfect for a family gathering. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a memorable day.

Cracking little pub welcomed 2 coach loads of football fans with no questions gave us the back room so all fans were together made us feel welcome unlike another pub in area. Young lad behind bar had good laugh with us if we that way again would definitely pay a visit. Thank you

Nice place. Nice atmosphere. Stayed for a birthday party. Nice room lovely and clean Although bit of noise from the street below early hours in morning. Friendly staff. Mice breakfast in morning Would stay again if visiting that way. Around good experience

Just had the best stake in Staffordshire ever the most succulent stake there can be wow amazing compliments to the chef . Be very very proud of your staff

Best night sleep as bed so comfortable. Shower nice and hot. Room had plenty of storage and very clean. Lunch and breakfast delicious and really wholesome home cooked food. Great location for walk into town. Will definitely stay again :)))

Clean, neat, comfortable, cosy rooms. The only reason I am giving a 4 and not a 5 is because they don't provide toothpaste and I had to go out and buy toothpaste for myself. They provide everything else: clean towels, shower gel but not toothpaste.
