"Very good apart from no air conditioning, and, as such had to have window open although fan provided.. Room small but only for one night so ok. Staff were first class."

"We stayed overnight so that we could visit the Tamworth Tap. We booked one of the superior rooms, it had a 4 poster bed and an ensuite bath and shower. The hotel is within easy walking distance of everything in the town. Including the Castle and St. Edithas church, both of which are well worth a visit. The staff in the hotel are friendly and efficient even though it was quite busy when we were there."

"Stayed here in a Sunday night, only booked day before and got a good price. Arrived just before 11pm . Reception staff very friendly & helpful. The room was spacious, clean & comfortable. Charging points by the bed (always handy) I had a good sleep. Parking free"

"One of the better ones I've stayed in. Parking included, a large car park as well -- with a few shaded areas which was useful as we stayed in one of the major heatwaves of 2026. Stayed on a Monday night, out of the holiday season for £120 BnB in a Plus room. The hotel itself was a good one of its kind. A bit of air con and a fully stocked room, no lift though. Only two short flights of stairs to walk up however. Everywhere clean and the team working there were great. The pub next door was pretty good. Nice range of beers etc and the food looked pretty good. Breakfast there in the morning was really good, A short (20 minute) walk into the town centre with its good selection of pubs, shops, cafes etc. The castle was sadly shut when we were there. but that looks worth a look. Stunning park area with playgrounds for the kids and lovely places to sit and watch the world go by. I'd stay there again as it's a good halfway point from where we live to the Southwest of the UK."

"Absolutely stunning house located conveniently next to Thorpe Garden. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, in particular Jo who was so friendly and who went above and beyond for us from the morning of the wedding. The breakfast was delicious too. Would highly recommend!"
