The stay was excellent in all ways: the environment, magnificent nature and peace, perfect to relax.

The hotel has it's age but it doesn't show. Rooms may not be super modern but still nice, and are really well soundprofed- you don't hear other guests at all. The location is excellent if you want to relax or spend some active time. Free bike rentals, large swimming pool, small gym, 2 sand beaches within walking distance. Also tennis, padel courts next door.

The room was very nice as well as the breakfast. The only negative thing was the bad smell in the public toilet for women in the restaurant

We stayed at the hotel with a family of 4 and upgraded our room to a hotel suite upon arrival. I can honestly say that the suite was worse than the cheapest room in the cheapest hotel chain. The room was untidy, the temperature inside was +28.5. The air conditioning did not work properly, one window was open and you had to go to the counter separately to ask for a handle to close it. You could not watch regular TV on the TV in the bedroom because the antenna box was broken, the second electric bed did not work and neither did half of the sockets in the bedroom. Even the grates have been removed from the sinks in the toilets so that anything you drop will definitely go down the drain. Usually I assume that I get the best room when I take a hotel suite but not this time. The funniest thing about this situation is that the staff was aware of all the shortcomings of the suite but still dared to sell it to me, and did not tell me anything about these shortcomings when I was at the counter. When I went to talk about it, there were explanations for that, such as the windows facing south a lot, the maintenance man couldn't be reached (even though it was Monday evening already), the cleaner forgot to close the window, yes they were still working last week, etc. etc. At the counter I also got some of the money I paid back as a refund and a promise that they would fix the room, I don't know if that's true. Otherwise, the other services of the hotel were good, the restaurant dinner was tasty and the swimming area was worth a dip. The breakfast had a fair selection too. In addition, I have been to the hotel several times before and in the past there have been no complaints about the rooms, not luxury of course but a good basic standard anyway.

Nice place, and all basic Scandic. A rather big dissapointement was the aircon which just didn't deliver. The maintanance did come to check, but could only say that it works. Still, with 28' outside, the room was chilled only to 26,5'. No compensation was offered.
