Lillan Hotel & Kök

Lillan Hotel is located in a quiet residential location and is tastefully decorated blending modern colour schemes with quality traditional furniture. The rooms are well equipped with WiFi and smart TV which enabled us to watch a little Netflix in our room in the evening. There was space to park our car in the small car park (but there’s free on street parking adjacent to the hotel). The bathroom was lovely, with quality Rituals products and quality fixtures and fittings, but the shower situation was a little odd as there was no fixing to hold the shower head, so meant we had to sit in the tub and hold the shower with one hand while washing with the other. Sadly our room was quite dusty, the bed sheets whilst washed and ironed had a few stains on, and the bed itself was quite saggy. The fridge was quite noisy too. I’m not sure we got the usual levels of service either. We weren’t given much info on check in, and when we went down to breakfast around 9.10am, there wasn’t much left. I suspect this was due to the number of guests in the restaurant for breakfast, it’s just a shame other guests such as ourselves weren’t left with much for breakfast (no porridge, a few pieces of fruit left, and some cold meat/cheeses). The staff did bring a few extra croissants and bread through, but they were quickly snapped up by other guests. Coffee was replenished frequently, was piping hot and tasted good though. It is a lovely and relaxing hotel, and has clearly had a lot of money invested refurbishing it in recent years - it just didn’t quite live up to the marketing collateral on the website and others’ reviews.

A gem of a little hotel… Lillans is a gem of a place to stay… beautiful and comfortable rooms, spacious bathroom, lovely restaurant, great food! Serviceminded and very friendly staff! Parking just outside. Nice breakfast, not the biggest selection, but enough. Nice little treats and even a tasty souvernier to take home! There was a little traffic outside (room 8, just on the corner), the chair/desk are not great for work - looks nice! ;-) But it is such a nice place to stay!! Highly recommended!

After a long trip from Australia, we found this venue very comfortable and welcoming. Understated, but highly efficient and friendly service, with lots of little things to make you feel comfortable. While the room was a little on the small side, it was modern and functional. Breakfast was included, and did not disappoint, with lots of options available. Would happily stay there again.

Small cozy and stylish hotel next to the church of Viinikka, quite near Tampere City centre. Rooms are stylish, service is friendly and the Restaurant servers delicious Finnish-Italian food. Small gift shop offers lovely Souvenirs. Garden Restaurant will be open in summer 2022. Warm recommendation.

Lovely stay at the Lillan! Room was comfortable and the staff very helpful. We had such a relaxing experience! The hotel is an old wooden house that has been completely renovated. Breakfast had fresh products and good coffee prepared separately by request.
