2-Star Hotels in Tallinn

Online check-in and online check-out. Fast and smooth. Bed was comfy, room clean, all nice and silent. Very affordable price and awesome location. Have been staying there many times and will go again.

The rooms are comfortable and clean. They have everything you need. The owners are willing to help or answer questions at any time. There is a great breakfast with a lot of variety, but it is the same every day. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is because someone older may have trouble with the stairs and taking luggage up and down. I did not have any problems and loved the black out curtains since there are so few hours of darkness in the summer. I stayed here for several days, and the women who clean work very hard. They wash the hotel out from top to bottom and even the outside stairs every day. This is not your American Hilton, but even though it is an older hotel, the family does their best to keep the hotel nice. Make sure breakfast is included in your rate.

Good location - it's about a 10-15 minutes walk to the old town / city centre. Price was reasonable and the room was solid. I got a twin room instead of a single room, which was not extremely spacious but clean and reasonably equipped. My room faced the busy street, meaning it was a bit noisy at night - but overall, the noise level was not disturbing from my point of view. Some staff members were super friendly (one receptionist told me just to keep the smile on my face), while another one just told me ”check-in is from 3pm” when I just walked it and mentioned that I have a reservation. Do not expect too much from the breakfast - it was a rather simple buffet. Boiled eggs were obviously left in the water for too long, and also the rest was not really convincing as far as taste is concerned. However, given the fact that it was already included in the price, it was alright. So overall, as long as you are looking for a rather clean room at decent fares and do not expect too much apart from that, Center Hotel is a good choice for you.

The location is too good and the price is reasonable. But the stairs are a bit high ㅠㅠ But if you don't have a carrier, you can make a reservation.

We knew it was a cheap hotel and didn't expect much, but it still sounded better from reviews than appeared. The hotel is located in a very uninviting area. Walking to the old town is possible, but it's still a good 15-20 minute walk through the area with little attractions. We were surprized that there was only 1 small store in this whole district and even that was closed at 16:00 (due to holiday). The hotel is not inviting either. Looks from the outside and the inside like a modernized soviet building. We booked a double room, but there were 3 beds in our room. The extra bed taking the space which isn't enough in the room. The odor in the room wan't pleasant. The floor didn't seem to be swept well. Rust on the heat pipes in the room. Old TV. Wifi worked poorly. Not the cleanest bathroom either. No shampoo/shower gel - only some cheap kind of liquid soap on the sink. No room serivce. Very poor breakfast - cheap with little choices. But the worst was the attitude of the personnel. The lady serving breakfast showed attitude as if guests were unwelcome intruders in this hotel. When the coffee ran out and she was asked for a refill she gave a look as if she was asked for a huge favor she wasn't in the mood to fulfill. The ladies at the check-in kept asking for a room number each time you passed by. So the overall impression is of a hostel where you're not welcome at all. Please look for a better place to stay not to ruin the impression of Tallinn.

Convenient location, there is a supermarket nearby,  There are attractions nearby in the quiet environment, convenient for , and there are also Christmas markets near the Christmas season  very beautiful.   Fully equipped, there is a sauna pool  kitchen can be shared! Luggage storage service available  reasonable price 👍🏻

The clerk will speak Russian and English. The hotel is located about 100  meters from the old town hall. Very close. There are also light rail and buses at the door that are very convenient to go directly to major shopping malls and airports. It is a hotel in the ancient city. I like it very much. I will stay here next time I go back to Tallinn.

Villa Kadriorg is a budget friendly hostel/hotel that is on a direct bus route to the old town. If not for major upgrade works to the tram network then I believe it would also be on the tram line. I found my room comfy enough, if a little warm. It was a very warm few days in Tallinn though. Sadly, my room was right above a bar playing music until past 10pm. If you needed an early night to catch transport then that might be a problem. There's free WiFi and a small shared kitchen. The shared showers were a little grubby, but I suspect that is to be expected. There was also a bit of noise from some of the younger guests after 10. Sounds like I had a miserable stay but that is not so. Just be aware that the price will attract youngsters. I'd say that Villa Kadriorg is good value for money and a fine place to rest a weary head after a long day walking around beautiful Tallinn.
