Ryokan Kutsuroginoya Yuu Reviews

Yuu 游 is an amazing ryokan. We (family of 4) had a very nice two nights' stay there. The Japanese style breakfast (you can choose western or Japanese, but obviously Japanese style is the winner) & dinner included in the package is simply amazing! And be sure to try Takayama Sake too. It goes so well with Hida beef:) just can't get enough. To get there from Takayama JR station (bus station there too), be sure to board the bus that goes to ipposui. We didn't rent a car because we are not used to driving in snowy weather. But everyone working in Yuu is super friendly, even drives us for a short trip out... And of course, the onsen is amazing too! Unfortunately stay there!

A little bit hard to find the place, but it was a very quaint and interesting place with good food! Onsen was very good too!

It takes about 18 minutes to drive from Shinhotaka Ropeway to the B&B. The service was considerate and I felt like a VIP throughout the whole process. The environment is beautiful, the rooms are limited and very quiet. The large bath is often not used, just like a private bath, making people relax and feel comfortable. It is a great idea to enjoy hot springs in the morning and evening on snowy days. Both breakfast and dinner are delicious and plentiful. Looking forward to visiting again.

The service was very good, The whole hotel is beautifully designed. The room is also very big. There is a private bath in the room. But the water is very hot. One night and two meals are also very rich. I was very impressed with this hotel. I also recommend everyone to stay. 

The room and dinner were very nice. The hot spring was very good. The service was good. The scenery outside was beautiful.

This is a wonderful hotel, located deep in the mountains, with precise and considerate service, and the dinner and breakfast are not only rich but also of very good quality! Recommended!

Full marks in all aspects. Note that the "luxury Japanese-style bedroom with bathroom" does not have an open-air private bath. The private bath in the picture is actually another "new wing duplex room with open-air bath". I repeatedly asked customer service in advance and communicated for a long time before confirming, but the Ctrip website has not changed.
