One of the nicest ryokan I have ever tried, with great dinner and breakfast buffet, yet affordable price. The only drawback of this ryokan is that my room was located in other building which was quite far away from the entrance and there was no elevator in that building, so you might need to prepare for smaller luggages.

Hotel is very beautiful, it is near the bus station. Lobby has very beautiful view, Japanese style, it is wonderful. I also like the dinner and breakfast very much. The Onsen also nice.

Facility is a little old. But, we enjoyed and dinner and breakfast buffet very much.

It’s ok for new building but the old one is really old

The hotel is in a very good location, about a 3-minute walk from the Hirayu Bus Terminal. It is the best transfer station to Kamikochi, Shinhotakaguchi and nearby hot springs. The Japanese garden in the lobby has a nice view, and the breakfast and dinner buffets with a one-night-two-meal package are also good. There are side dishes, steamed food, boiled food, fried food, sashimi, teppanyaki, sukiyaki, etc., which are almost everything you should have. There are indoor and outdoor baths, free cold drinks, massage chairs, and free ramen from 10pm to 10:30pm [break into laughter] I stayed in the main building, which was renovated in 2021. The room is quite new overall. The old building is more retro [witty]

There is discrimination against Chinese people. As mentioned in the previous guest's review, they gave us room 417, which is the highest and most corner room, regardless of whether we had to carry a large luggage to climb the stairs. The hygiene is not very good. The floor of the hot spring area is a bit slippery and the hygiene needs to be improved. I will not recommend it to my friends. The food is also average.
