The host is super friendly and gracious, and speaks excellent English. The place is sparkling clean and well organized. The location is residential, but close to a train station, therefore convenient for in-and-out shopping, dining, or sight-seeing. I highly recommend this guesthouse - better than hotels or ryokans.

全体的に綺麗で清潔で、シングル四畳の部屋も窓により開放感がありました。共有スペースも使いやすく、自分の家のようにゆったり過ごせました。 オーナーさんがとても親切で、旅の細かい計画を一緒に考えてくださり感激しました。初めてゲストハウスに泊まる方や女性の一人旅の方にぜひお薦めしたい宿です。

繁華街からは適度に離れています でもクチコミ一位のうどん屋さんが徒歩で行けて朝食は最高でした！ ご主人は高松周辺の情報をたくさん教えてくれて、その後の旅も大変助かりました！高松来たらまた泊まりたい！

We stayed at Wakabaya 2 nights, a family of 4 with our twins. The house was lovely, good location and the host Mr. Wakabaya was very nice and hospitable. We had a great time in Takamatsu, thanks to Mr. Wakabaya’s many tips on activities and restaurants. The rooms were clean, typical Japanese style in a typical Japanese house. We enjoyed our stay at Wakabaya guesthouse very much, and if we return to Takamatsu we will definitely stay there again. We absolutely recommend Wakabaya guesthouse!

I absolutely loved our stay at Wakabaya. As a tourist, it was wonderful to experience what a traditional Japanese house is like. I had never slept on a futon before and I found it very comfortable. The host is very friendly and gives great advice. I would recommend this guest house to anyone looking to have a unique experience in Japan.

2024/7/18～19にビジネスで利用しました（１名）。清潔で安い、高松駅からもけこう近いです（琴電10分＋徒歩5分程度）。居室（鍵あり）は寝るには十分。オーナー居宅が隣なので、安心＆地元情報を教えてもらえるので便利です。トイレ・お風呂・シャワー・リビングが共用でも気にならない方にとっては、よい選択です。
