大人２人、子ども２人（7歳3歳）で泊まりました。共有スペースの揃う１階の部屋にしてもらい、宿泊部屋と共有スペースを幾度となく行き来し、思う存分活用させてもらいました。まるでおうち。子ども連れでのゲストハウス宿泊は初めてでしたが、オーナーさんも子どもの扱いに慣れていて、ノーストレスで利用できました。 今回の目的は移住に向けた下調べ。事前にオーナーさんに目的を伝え、地域の情報や本音を聞かせてもらいました。忙しいとは思いつつも、遅い時間まで話に付き合ってもらい、とっても有意義な時間をいただきました。ありがとうございました！！ １つだけ気になった点は、部屋の湿度。エアコンを効かせたお部屋はすごく乾燥してるので、次回利用時は濡れたバスタオル干そうかなと思います。

今回は仕事で、車で行きましたが、いつもは歩き旅なので、いつも洗濯とか困ってました。なにもかも旅人目線で設備が整っており、完璧❗スーパーのお総菜でごはんを済ませましたが、リビングで、いろんな方としゃべったり、情報交換したりで、楽しい一時を過ごさせていただきました。次は歩き旅でおじゃましたい宿です。秋の栗林公園も、最高でした！

We had a great three-night stay here in the private room on the first floor. Takeshi was a wonderful host: he's genuine and friendly and made us feel right at home. He also was immensely helpful in recommending what to do in Takamatsu based on our interests. His English was very good, and he was always available and happy to chat. His attention to detail is everywhere -- from posting the current weather forecast every morning, to signs explaining how things work (the kitchen sink, the shower door, etc) in Japanese and English. The futons were comfortable, and everything was super clean and tidy. The guesthouse is fairly compact, and there were other families staying there at the same time, but we felt we had plenty of privacy when we wanted it, and could interact with others in the common area when we chose to. A bathroom or shower was always available when we needed one. We will definitely stay here if we return to Takamatsu!

初めての歩き遍路、逆打ち５日間の3日目に、屋島寺から一宮寺へのルート上にある若葉屋さんでお世話になりました。 その日はまず屋島寺へ行き、その後で宿に立ち寄って荷物を置かせていただき、一宮寺へ。一宮寺からは琴電で栗林公園前まで戻って宿に着く計画で、これは予約時にご主人にアドバイスいただいたもの。3日目ともなれば足もあちこち痛くなっていたので、身軽になり無理せずのんびりと歩くことができました。残り２日間のコースや、お遍路の全体についても、色々と相談できて大変ありがたかったです。 最終日は台風の影響した強い雨にあい、ずぶ濡れになりましたが、心折れずに天皇寺まで、予定した全てのお寺ををまわり終えられたのも、ご主人にお話を聞いて、おおよその道のイメージができていたおかげと感謝しています。 宿は清潔で、アメニティも旅人に必要なものが揃っていました。それぞれにわかりやすい説明書きがついていて、使い方に戸惑うことはありませんでした。 2日分、2人分の洗濯をさせていただいたのですが、乾燥機30分と、部屋に備え付けてある洗濯干し紐（10kgまで可能）に一晩吊るすと十分に乾きました。ハンガーなどもたっぷりあり助かりました。 共有スペースで洗濯を待ちながら本棚を見ていると「せとうちすたいる」という素敵な雑誌が目にとまりました。私は愛媛の出身で実家を遠く離れてもう３０年以上になります。ページをめくりながらこんな新しい風が吹いていたのかと、四国を再発見する気持ちになりました。これはゲストハウスを営む若葉屋さんにもそのまま感じられました。 女性用トイレにはナプキンがあり、鎮痛剤も用意があると書いてありました。さりげない心遣いが嬉しかったです。いつも鎮痛剤は持ち歩いているのですが、急に必要になり、手持ちがないこともきっとあるでしょう。（へとへとで宿に着いて薬屋まで歩く気力がない時など、これはありがたいと思います） 夕食は、近くのチシティというインドカレー屋さんへ出かけました。地元の人たちが、家族や友人と食べに来ている様子で、とても美味しく満足。ガラス越しにナンの窯が近くで見られるようになっていて、小さい子どもさんが、ナンの焼けるところを見て楽しそうでした。 この日宿では、他のお客さんと顔を合わせることはほとんどありませんでしたが、雨の日などは共有スペースにお客さん達がお弁当を買って集うとか。次はそんな体験もしてみたいなと思います。 心に残る旅の一晩をありがとうございました。

The host is super friendly and gracious, and speaks excellent English. The place is sparkling clean and well organized. The location is residential, but close to a train station, therefore convenient for in-and-out shopping, dining, or sight-seeing. I highly recommend this guesthouse - better than hotels or ryokans.

全体的に綺麗で清潔で、シングル四畳の部屋も窓により開放感がありました。共有スペースも使いやすく、自分の家のようにゆったり過ごせました。 オーナーさんがとても親切で、旅の細かい計画を一緒に考えてくださり感激しました。初めてゲストハウスに泊まる方や女性の一人旅の方にぜひお薦めしたい宿です。

繁華街からは適度に離れています でもクチコミ一位のうどん屋さんが徒歩で行けて朝食は最高でした！ ご主人は高松周辺の情報をたくさん教えてくれて、その後の旅も大変助かりました！高松来たらまた泊まりたい！
