I booked two rooms on Ctrip, and the front desk told me to download the Huazhu App to upgrade the room type. I don’t know exactly what the difference was when I booked it, and I couldn’t verify it. I gave him two mobile phones and downloaded it, and the front desk went to operate it! When I checked in, the front desk was focused on promoting apps and hotel mini-programs, without introducing the hotel's information in detail, so I asked myself if the drinks in the minibar were free. My room is close to the High Price Bridge and the windows are not well insulated. It was noisy for two nights and the air conditioner in the room was very weird. It was very hot whether it was turned on or not. It also smelled like decoration and my throat hurt!

The room was great, and the breakfast was super rich. We ate there for five days straight, and it was fresh every day. The customer service manager, Xiao Fan, was very attentive and helpful. There was a shuttle bus for the concert, but I didn't take it. However, I saw the hotel sign outside the venue. It was so conspicuous, hahaha. It made me feel at ease just looking at it. The pool closes at 10:30 every day, and the kids go there for a swim every day. My parents were also very satisfied with the hotel's bedding. This is a very cost-effective hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for one night, while going from Pingyao to Zhangjiajie. We arrived at the train station in the evening, and had to take the train the following morning. The hotel offers pickup and drop-off which was very convenient and comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, with snacks, tea and all the furnitures we could need. The staff was SO helpful: they ordered some food for us (everything on the app was in mandarin and we couldn't understand how to do it ourselves), recommended some local favorites, and delivered it to our room. They also helped us do laundry even though it was late in the evening, so we had clean clothes to continue our trip. All in all, our stay was excellent, and I couldn't recommend the hotel more.

GGuest UserCould not fault this place. We had booked a bigger room, but it was on the main street, so decided not to take the risk. A slight downgrade was organised swiftly. Room very comfortable, with a nice big bathroom. A well equipped gym where I seemed to be the only user. Breakfast passable with toast, fruits, cereal, coffee and baked goods. We extended our stay to 4 nights. The service at the front desk, room servicing, breakfast was exemplary. The room maid left me a lovely book marker as she saw my lonely planet. (btw, LP mentions a restaurant at the start of the bu xing jie; I wouldn't bother).Hotel is 1km west of Tiyuguan metro station on line 2. Line 1 yet to open. Two stations north brings you 400m from Bell Tower Street, a bu xing jie where there are heaps of great eating places. One station north of Tiyuguan, then east as far as possible gets you to the old Taiyuan train station. Buses 308 or 804 (slow trip) gets you to JinCi Si; well worth the trip even just to see a 3,000yo tree

TTracie WestMy stay at Wutong Apartments was wonderful! The room was clean, spacious, modern, and aesthetically pleasing. There is bathtub is luxurious and spacious, the shower has great pressure and the the separate toilet room has a motion censored toilet seat and a bidet. The bed was comfy and the closet space begs you to unpack your suitcase. There were thoughtful amenities, including a loofah cloth and shoe shine cloths. Now...the breakfast. It was the best breakfast buffet I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Tinder and well seasoned steak, salmon, soups, desserts, breads, scrumptious pancakes and a salad bar that even included kale amongst the varied greens. Best of all, the service was exceptional. A special thank you to Li Ne, the dining staff and the housekeeper who attended to my room. I wish that every hotel stay I experience in the future is as amazing as my time at Wutong Apartment Hotel.

The front desk staff even proactively offered a complimentary room upgrade. The new room was spacious, bright, and well-appointed, with incredibly comfortable bedding that made it easy to relax instantly. Throughout my stay, every member of staff, from housekeeping to the restaurant team, consistently displayed genuine smiles and a thoughtful, caring attitude, which made me feel incredibly welcome and valued. The hotel's location is also very convenient, being just a few minutes' walk from Taiyuan South Railway Station. This stay completely exceeded my expectations, with the hotel's thoughtfulness and attention to detail evident in every aspect. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to friends, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shanxi!

CChifanbuchicai-As soon as I entered the hotel, the front desk greeted me warmly. The staff was very nice. Since the hotel room was not cleaned, they helped me upgrade to a king-size bed room for free. They also gave me souvenirs, which were very convenient to take with me.
The hotel room is also very large. The shampoo and shower gel are all travel-sized. If you can't use them up, you can take them away! The room is spacious and the hygiene is in place. Every little corner is taken care of and it is cleaned very cleanly. There is also free afternoon tea in the afternoon, and the ice cream is also delicious~ The location is also very good, just near the train station, about 15 minutes walk away, the room price is more than 200, the cost performance is super high! TTheTravelShowThe hotel itself is located out in the far Northeast of the city, in a quiet location, but easily accessible by the fast roads. It is opposite a shopping mall with everything you need such as coffee shop, fast food etc. Conveniece store also just across the street. Check-in was easy and straight-forward and the hotel is clean and modern. The room was well-appointed with everything I needed and the best thing was the amazing bed, which was super-comfortable!
Breakfast is excellent and has both Western and Chinese buffet options. Plenty of choice here!
Service was fantastic for this stay. The second day we had a power blackout for an hour or so because of engineers across the street. The staff dealt with it very well and made sure I was looked after. Swimming pool is good too. Recommend.

The dining environment is very clean and hygienic, and the dishes are plentiful... The waiter Guo Defeng has been warmly asking what to drink, and he also helped to bring fruits. GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, with Vientiane City nearby. It is also very convenient to drive to Jinci Temple, Botanical Garden and other attractions. Parking is available at the door and there are plenty of parking spaces. You can see the Fen River from the room, and you can also see the night view of the Grand Theater, Library, and Bronze Museum at night. The room was cleaned very well, the breakfast was rich in variety, and the front desk was very efficient. However, no one came to help take the luggage upstairs when checking in, and there was a strong smell of cigarettes when I took the elevator twice.

We can only put it in the aisle. . . BBinchongGood location, if you're in a room away from the noisy streets. Updated design, so some effort has gone in there.
Staff is functional and perfunctory; things get done. Not the most efficient, not the most welcoming. In fact, the worst i have encountered on this trip, but not terrible. Reminds me of some inns I have stayed in in rural China.
The one thing that makes this an absolute no-no is that despite the price I am paying, there is no air-conditioning. It is a central air-con system and they have deemed it is not warm enough to turn it on. Which makes the room a stuffy furnace. Advice was to turn on air purifier which is noisy through the whole night and doesn't really help. If I'm paying for a room, at least let me decide the room ventilation. If they want to sell to foreign guests, they should know this is a basic given as this is what we have come to expect in our hotel rooms.
So, strongly advice: NO!
