Taiyuan Yingze District Hotels

Facilities: My friends told me this is one of the more upscale hotels in the area. The smart room features throughout are quite impressive, and food deliveries are brought directly to the room by a robot. Service: The service was exceptionally attentive. On the first day, we needed an extra bed, and the housekeeping manager went above and beyond, checking various room sizes to find the best arrangement. We stayed for four nights. One day, I washed clothes and left them hanging in the bathroom to drip dry. When we returned, the housekeeper had thoughtfully left a note and moved them out to dry properly – such attention to detail! Later in our stay, we were driving a local friend's car and returned very late one night. The parking attendant, even past 1 AM, patiently helped open the garage door without any sign of impatience. Environment: The hotel breakfast was quite good, especially the knife-cut noodles (Dao Xiao Mian), which were particularly delicious! 😋

I was born in 1969, in the residential compound of the Taiyuan Aviation Instrument Factory in Taiyuan. It was at the end of that year that my parents were transferred for work, and we left Taiyuan. This trip to the city feels like a glimpse into my roots. 😀 Before leaving, I spent a lot of time researching hotels in Taiyuan on Ctrip and finally chose the Home Inn. The hotel is located near Liuxiang Bell Tower Street. Downstairs, there's plenty of shopping and dining options, but upstairs, it's very quiet. Newly renovated, with new amenities, it's clean and tidy. The smart features throughout the hotel are user-friendly. The friendly and polite staff at the front desk on the first floor were especially nice. I drove there and could park directly in the Home Inn underground parking lot across the street. It's very close, making it very convenient for self-driving. After staying there for one night, my partner and I fell in love with the pillows in the room. They were so soft and comfortable that we bought two at the front desk when we checked out and took them home. It was a pleasant surprise. 😀

We took our kids out for a stroll and a meal during the National Day holiday. Bo Ran's service was a win. The front desk and guest rooms were incredibly warm! A special shoutout to the front desk lady who was on duty around 9 PM on October 3rd. She was so sweet ❤️ and promptly resolved my issue. 🫰🏻 Love you! The breakfast was also very varied. I highly recommend their knife-cut noodles; they were fantastic! 👍🏻 The fried dough sticks paired with the knife-cut noodles were still lingering on my palate when I got home! 🤓 Overall, the warm and attentive service made our stay a comfortable one for the three of us! If I had to point out a downside, it's the busy location, which can be a bit lively at night. 😂😂

We had an amazing stay. The room was clean, spacious and had a spectacular view from the 9th floor. Reception was helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was not bad, although it ends relatively early at 0930H. I would consider staying here again.

Great location and they were all super nice. However the room was super hot and there is no AC. When we asked they brought up a portable unit but it wasn’t nearly enough to keep the room comfortable. If it’s winter it could be a great spot but definitely look elsewhere in the late spring and summer.

The room is quite large and the transportation is very convenient. It is very close to the South Station Airport. The lady at the front desk is also very welcoming. Parking is also very convenient. There is a delicious mutton restaurant next to it.

It is a newly opened hotel, just on the side of the road after the viaduct, it is very easy to find, the front desk is warm and the service is very good, the room is very clean, there is a buffet breakfast, and they are very satisfied with the trip with their parents!

Last time I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel (going to Datong), and this time I stayed at the Manxin Hotel (Taiyuan). According to Huazhu Club, the former is mid-range and the latter is mid-to-high-end. Based on travel needs and the desire to try out the differences in services and facilities of hotels with different positioning, I booked Manxin to experience it for myself. 1. Better service. For example, Manxin has welcome fruits, and they opened the door for me on the first day of check-in. I was quite surprised by the latter, as this is a service available in a mid-to-high-end hotel. In addition, after completing the check-in procedures, the lobby manager will also escort the customers to the elevator, which is quite considerate. However, don't expect any service such as helping you press the elevator button and sending your luggage up, after all, this is not a five-star hotel. Second, the room type. I am quite satisfied. When I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel, I didn’t get a room upgrade, but when I stayed at the Manxin Hotel, I didn’t expect that I would get a room upgrade (it might be a basic operation). After upgrading the room type, the space is spacious, with dry and wet areas separated (what I care about most), and the room decoration style is what I like, thumbs up. 3. Lobby decoration style and fragrance. The scent of All Seasons Tea is hard to describe, but it's quite special. However, subjectively it's not my favorite scent, so I won't discuss it. 4. Meals. As for the food, it was just a normal meal, nothing special, but it had everything that you would expect, and the small cakes were delicious. 5. Others. Because my travel schedule was a bit tight, I set up a wake-up call at the front desk to get up early, and the front desk woke me up on time with a gentle tone and a good attitude. Overall, I am satisfied with my stay. I will try Intercity Hotel next time.

The location of the hotel is really good. It is very close to Food Street, Chunyang Palace and Shanxi Merchants Museum. The hotel is a very old four-star hotel. The room facilities are too old. You have to complain about getting out of bed and the mattress It's an ancient Simmons, the springs on it can be hidden, it's really painful in the morning! ! The sink, bed, and bathtub are all very short. The original room facilities may have been chosen for dwarfs!
