Taitung Taitung City 5-star Hotels

We had a wonderful stay in the hotel, staff is very friendly and helpful, the pool and view is amazing. Only topic to improve is to let the people eat and drink at the pool bar to enjoy the views as this bar isn’t open and nothing served.

Our stay at this hotel was a mixed experience, and overall, I wouldn't consider it worth the cost. The hotel itself is old, and the facilities feel very dated. While it boasts a large swimming pool and spa areas, they were unusable during our stay as they were running with cold water. We didn’t see anyone using them. The “beauty pool,” which was advertised as having heated water, was disappointing due to a strong sewer-like smell. Additionally, the sauna is not complimentary for hotel guests, which felt unreasonable. The dining experience was also underwhelming. The à la carte food in the restaurant was below average in quality, the portions were small, and the prices were high. However, the atmosphere was pleasant, though it felt odd being the only customers at 8 p.m. On a brighter note, the breakfast was excellent. I would rate it four stars for its variety of local and aboriginal food, which was a highlight of the stay. The timing of activities for kids was inconvenient as well. While kids could play pool and ping pong for free in the evening (after we arrived at 7 p.m.), all other activities were scheduled for late morning or early afternoon, after checkout time. The hotel’s location is another drawback. It is far from restaurants and busy areas, making it necessary to have a car or take a taxi. The one positive aspect of our stay was the room. We booked the premium family room/suite, which provided separate sleeping areas for parents and kids—a feature we appreciated. However, this came at a premium price, costing 25% more. I had requested a room with a view, and the front desk clerk was accommodating, which I appreciated. Overall, while the room and breakfast were nice, the rest of the experience didn’t justify the cost or the inconvenience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to the facilities and services.

Moon villa is a good place to stay if you need to be near the train station. The rooms are clean and simple. The host was friendly and did her best to communicate with me in English. I did stand outside for 30 min waiting for someone to let me in, and had to get my Taiwanese friend to call to tell them I was there. The breakfast was good, if you are vegan there are less options available. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

Just next to Taitung Railway Station, walk there.

We live in a quadruple room, clean and comfortable, the room and the bathroom are quite large, there are many sockets, there is a round table and hanger and even a dehumidifier, there are instant noodles, egg toast jam and black tea wheat tea coffee can be made by yourself, the first floor space is also very comfortable, I like it very much!

The owner is kind and kind Breakfast is very special, the owner personally made... It feels delicious and delicious... Fortunately, we had a family stay that day So you can enjoy the karaoke equipment in the house. Sing for one night, very happy 🥳 The location is close to Taitung New Station and it takes about 5 minutes to walk Not far from downtown by car, about 10 minutes There are also 2 supermarkets nearby, about 2 minutes walk Life is very convenient... Very recommended good homestay!
