Teruma House is a very new, 6 months' old property. Clean, tastefully done in terms of design and comfort. Owner Max is very friendly, hospitable and helpful to share useful info such as suggestions on bicycle rental, places to eat, to visit. There are free coffee and snacks provided in the lobby area for guests. The only downside is the location of property is a bit of a walk from train station. Despite that, I absolutely love my stay there.

The room was very clean, the light was very good, very quiet, the air-conditioning was Dajin, I felt the boss's intentions, and the quality of the accommodation was very good. The boss is very kind and insists that the guests cannot be hungry, so breakfast is prepared, coffee, fruit, bread are all, rich and delicious. The first choice for staying in Taitung next time!

The location is not available by bus, so it is good to rent a car. The owner of the homestay is very welcoming, the room is generally acceptable, but the curtains in the room are not sealed and exposed in the morning; the toilet cloth curtains are moldy, and it is not suitable to use cloth curtains. At 6:30 in the morning, there are nearby chickens squeaking. The host has reminded that earplugs can be purchased and psychologically prepared.

This is a really cosy place. I really love my room. Clean and modern interior. The only downside might be the location. It's close to the train station. But there isn't much nearby for food. Probably best to rent a scooter to explore Taitung anyway to make your stay more convenient. They are plenty of scooter shops near the train station too.
