Hotels in Yongkang Market Place, Taipei

I personally think the service of this hotel is quite good, but the actual pillows and other equipment are too old,  In addition, Taiwan will not provide toothbrushes and toothpaste fortunately I do not get angry to travel also bring private. Also their slippers are as thin as paper, I stayed in this hotel  four nights the first night with biscuits and tea and coffee powder, the second and third night without! There is no fourth night with a pack of tea, In addition, the deposit deducted from Trip.com plus the actual cost of accommodation is different and more than $ 300 next time will not stay again not because in Taiwan to class three days will not choose to stay in this hotel, breakfast is okay, but are biased to Asian ingredients, foreigners bread and toast I think less every day's breakfast is also different but his fried noodles It's okay, this area is a good place to listen to those taxi drivers but I won't stay in this area again, but the coffee shop near National Taiwan University walking forward is also good. The mutton shop in the hotel downstairs is open more slowly.

Hotel is super aged, and looks like there’s only minimal effort put into trying to keep it updated. There’s a free washer and dryer on site (can request for laundry detergent from the counter), but the dryer takes 2 HOURS on the hottest setting to dry a load of clothes. The jacuzzi is a nice touch, but the jets weren’t too strong. The toilet HAS NO BIDET, literally the first we’ve encountered in Taiwan so far, unacceptable in this day and age. Location is amazing though.

Room is spacious. Bathroom spacious. Toilet with bidet and has a separate shower area and a big bathtub. Location is average. Within Da'An but not exactly near to metro and limited F&B outlet nearby. 1st hotel in Taiwan that I stayed that front desk / service staff did not greet guests when they enter (not attending to check-in/out and not on the phone). Front office staff forgot to give morning call at required time. Luckily he remembered 20mins later.

A very good location hotel, near Da-An Forrest Park and MRT station, that is worth to book. Services are splendid for English speakers. Facilities are well organized either inside the room or in the donning room. Good choices of breakfast.

Great location in the city center, right at the exit of Dongmen metro station. Stayed in this hotel 3 times. Rooms are small, but cozy and clean. Stuff very friendly and helpful. There's a convenience store right in front of the entrance to hotel, 2 mins walk. Breakfast consists of mostly Chinese dishes. If you prefer western breakfast, better eat out. Recommend this hotel!

I encountered some issues that affected my overall experience. Room Cleanliness: Unfortunately, the room cleanliness left much to be desired. I found dead mosquitoes and insects on the wall and curtains, which was quite off-putting. It’s clear that more attention to detail is needed in terms of housekeeping. Room Size: The room was on the smaller side, which may not be ideal for longer stays or those who prefer more space to relax. Other Aspects: On a positive note, the staff was courteous and the location of the hotel was convenient. However, I hope the management will address the cleanliness issues for future guests.

Good location right next to Exit 1 of Daan Park MRT station (but only stairs for this exit). 7-11 is next to hotel and there is Subway and a breakfast stall opposite. Quiet area at night, can take 1 stop MRT to Dongmen to visit Yongkang Street (Exit 5) for food and tourist stuff. Located opposite Daan Forest park so good for families with young kids to play. Room is clean and bedding is comfortable. Room is equipped with air purifier and an extra hair dryer. Bathtub stopper does not work well. Will be good to have additional shelving for clothing as there is limited wardrobe space for 3 pax. Hotel provides free snacks at lobby and instant noodles at night. Hotel breakfast is not bad selection but taste so-so. Nice to have sugar-free soya and peanut rice milk served at breakfast. Room has free snacks and drinks too. Overall a good 3-star hotel with convenient location.

Really enjoyed this hotel. The room is very clean and the staff are very helpful. Only a few minutes walk to subway station and it's across a beautiful park.

A mix of positives and areas for improvement. The hotel is well-located, making it a convenient base for my activities. Cleanliness and functionality were evident, with my room being notably spacious and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. However, the room’s decor was somewhat dreary and outdated, which detracted from the overall ambience. On a positive note, the bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep without any disturbances. The staff were generally friendly and accommodating, which added to the pleasantness of my stay. Unfortunately, there was an exception during breakfast times. A particular man displayed a noticeable lack of interest in guest welfare. On two occasions, he saw me struggling to open the terrace door and did not offer to help, even walking past me once when I was clearly in need of assistance with my hands full. This behavior suggested a disregard for guest service. On a lighter note, the hotel features a charming micro-garden at the back, which was a delightful place to relax. In summary, while the hotel does not necessarily inspire a “wow” factor, it maintains the essentials for a practical and generally comfortable business stay.
