Really good Japanese style hotel, even goes as far as practicing Japanese mannerism by bowing which was an eye opener for us. Room was clean albeit slightly dusty. Toilet was clean with nice separation between the bathtub/shower area with the WC. Convenient location, 3 mins walk to the closest MRT and with the summer heat, that’s a huge plus. View from the room was excellent too. The hotel also have a public bath. Great hotel!

I’ve stayed here many times when visiting. The rooms and decor are a bit old school. Reminds me of my grandparents home. However staff is attentive and service oriented. I arrived early at 5am before 3pm check in, fee for early check in was 1500NTD. The shower pressure is great.

Best location ever. We were there for a concert held at the Taipei Dome. Literally just across the street.
Next to Metro too… so convenient to visit places of interest near by.
Amazing Taipei 101 landmark city view from our room window.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, my experience was quite average. The room was spacious, which was definitely a plus, and the bed was comfortably soft, allowing for a good night’s sleep. However, the cleanliness of the room was just okay — it was neither spotless nor particularly dirty, but felt like it could have been maintained a bit better.
The equipment in the room felt a bit outdated. Some amenities, such as the toiletries and complimentary items, were fairly standard and nothing special. The bathroom fixtures worked fine but showed signs of wear and tear.
The hotel location was convenient, and staff were polite, but the overall atmosphere was rather average. If you prioritize spacious rooms and comfort in bed, this hotel might suit your needs. However, if you expect modern equipment and top-notch amenities, this property might leave you wanting more. It serves well for a short stay but may not impress guests looking for a more updated or luxurious experience.
Boutique luxury hotel with reasonable rice beats normal 4 star hotel. Great value for money.
Room’s impeccable, furniture looks and feels like brand new, washroom super clean and facilities well maintained, the jacuzzi works good, which is quite fascinating.
The management arranged a Canadian national flag in my room with a welcoming basket of fruit and refreshments, makes me just like home. All these exceeded my best expectations.
Very dedicated staff and professional management with this hotel. I will highly recommend to all of you and wish you enjoy your stay in Taipei, just like I did.

The Taipei Fullerton is a well located and comfortable place to stay, but it's let down for cleanliness and showing it's age a little.
The first room that I was shown had someone's left half ice cream in the fridge, and the bathroom had not been cleaned properly.
Whilst they did act and moved me to a new room (which I think was a slight upgrade as it had a sofa and a little more space), you can still notice that the windows suffer from the humidity and aren't kept in good condition, and other small things like this, like the lights in the lift having dust and dirt inside them.
Also the lighting in the bathrooms is quite poor, you cannot easily see yourself in the mirror which can make shaving difficult.
A real shame these small details aren't kept on top of, because otherwise the staff are lovely and the bed is one of the most comfortable I've slept in at a hotel.

We've stayed at Green World ZhongXiao Hotel every time we've visited Taipei, primarily because of its prime location – just a minute's walk from the subway and surrounded by a variety of eateries, cafes, and shops. While the location has always been excellent, the service has consistently been disappointing.
However, our most recent stay in April was particularly frustrating. While the service remained subpar, the hotel took things a step further by removing all amenities. To make matters worse, they posted a misleading notice claiming that this change was part of their commitment to government initiatives for a sustainable future. While we understand the importance of sustainability, it didn’t excuse the rude and unhelpful behavior we encountered when asking for something as simple as a shower cap—especially since it was clearly stated that we could request one if needed. What was even more frustrating was that the need to bring your own amenities was never communicated to guests prior to booking nor displayed on their website. Additionally, room cleaning was not provided unless specifically requested. This sentiment was echoed by both locals and foreigners.
I believe the hotel has room for significant improvement in service standards and better communication to ensure a more pleasant experience for guests.
The hotel is located in the center of the city. The area is considered a wealthy area, next to Da-An District Police Station which makes it extra safe.
The area is mainly residential, not as busy as nearby other shopping districts, but close enough to enjoy shopping, it is also within walking distance to Da- An City forest Park where local residents and to tourists enjoy.
The slight downside for travelling is only buses running through; the closest MRT station is about 10 minutes walking which is not too bad.
My room was big and clean; the house keepers changed the dirty towels every day. The hotel doesn't provide tooth brushes or toothpaste.
The one thing to consider as a little disappointing is that breakfast; normally the hotel at this level provides at least 3-4 different fruits to choose from, but here only 2 (mainly citrus fruits; this is a bit poor to consider Taiwan is such fruit heaven); there are no pastries besides breads; the western fried eggs are far too watery.
I gave the service 4 stars only because the staff serving breakfast looks bored and not happy in the morning. Also clean the table while you are still consuming your food which is not professional.
In general, I still enjoyed the stay and would like to return again in the future.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, which offered a warm, inviting atmosphere with its pleasant lighting and comfortable spaces. The check-in process was smooth and efficient thanks to Karen, who was professional and welcoming.
The lobby layout can be more intuitive. The check-in counter are somewhat tucked away at a corner, making it unclear at first where to go. Kimberly went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Her attentiveness, cheerful demeanor, and genuine care for guests’ comfort made my experience truly enjoyable.
The room is spacious and clean. I just don’t like that the hot water takes ages to heat up—it’s such a waste of water.
Overall, this was a great stay, largely thanks to staff like Kimberly who make guests feel valued. With slight improvements in lobby signage and faster hot water in the rooms, this hotel would be outstanding. I would gladly return and recommend it to others.

GGuest UserI would recommend to anyone staying in Taipei! The staff is very helpful. Excellent customer service. Loved my room and although I didn’t get to enjoy all the amenities (bar, dining, gym) they looked amazing. The view from the 13th floor is beautiful. The location of the hotel is close to the MRT station and a lot of food and shopping! Will definitely be back!

AAnna KaAptly named to help you find it, it's right at Dongmen station exit 3. Super close to the subway, great location next to Yangkang Street, convenient to get anywhere. Love the capsule style beds, always love sleeping in a capsule it makes me feel so safe and private. Very clean, well maintained, facilities were great, price is right. I would 100% stay here again next time I'm in Taipei.
SSUNYOUNGOur family stayed at Via Hotel Zhongxiao for 2 nights and 3 days, and it was much better than we expected.
We were satisfied with the location, cleanliness, service, and facilities.
At first, the building itself seemed old and the first floor felt a bit dirty.. And the hotel was on the 3rd floor, so what is it?.... But..
When we went up to the 3rd floor, the hotel itself was clean and the staff was very, very kind.
Our room, which was designated as a family room, was on the 4th floor Wow~~~ It was a little disappointing that there was no window, but the spacious, clean, and good water pressure bathroom and toilet made up for it.
We expected breakfast because the rate included breakfast.. haha This hotel doesn't have a restaurant, so it seems to have contracted with nearby cafes.. restaurants and provided meals.
The breakfast at the nearby cafe was simple and delicious, like sandwiches, hamburgers, and coffee. Our family had a satisfying breakfast.
Our family had a pleasant trip and returned home safely.

GGuest UserRecommended by friend who had stayed at this hotel previously. The hotel location is good. Near to metro station. It's also a couple of stations away from xmd.
Breakfast is simple but is good enough for someone like me.

HHUNWOOKI found 5 bed bugs crawling on the bed this morning. I killed them all but one of them stung my neck, leaving blood stains on the sheets.
It's not entirely the hotel's fault, as the room probably was visited by some travelers carrying the bed bugs.
The hotel should inspect all rooms and chemically treat the room before the next visitor enters the room.
Now I have to inspect and clean my luggage so that I don't carry bed bugs into my house.

BBom.i.daThe location is very good, but it is far from the MRT station. It is very close to the Shida Night Market, which is only a 7-8 minute walk away. There are several supermarkets downstairs, which is very convenient. There are many coffee shops along the side roads. It is only a 10-minute walk to Yongkang Street.
The room is clean and tidy, just right for one person, but it would be a bit crowded for two people.
LLyka FindsI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I could ask for.

MMartin Anthony MiszerakTo be fair to this hotel, the location is very good, the service at the reception is very good, and the rooms are quite nice. I was even upgraded to a small suite. Otherwise, however, the hotel does not merit 4 stars; 2,5* is the most I would give it. It is terribly aged and requires urgent renovation. Things were literally falling apart in my room. The breakfast, which was allegedly included in my booking, was a total outrage. It consisted of bread, butter, marmelade and coffee. Some other hotel guests who came down to breakfast decided clearly to go out upon seeing what the hotel was offering. Never again!
