It's a basic hotel so don't expect a lot of amenities. Despite that they get the basics absolutely right! What surprised us was that they provided some bread and fruits for breakfast and also tea and bottled water in the room. The room is very clean and very functional! The shower area is spacious. It is located right next to the metro and just a short walk away from many food stores. Our only regret is we wished we stayed longer. The staff are friendly and helpful too. We would book this the next time if we come back to Taipei.

The room is small, and it might be a bit difficult to open a large suitcase, but the environment is neat and clean, the toilet is spacious, and there is a dry and wet area separated. The location is good, just across the road from Jiantan Station Exit 2, and it is also close to Shilin Night Market. Although there is no breakfast, there is bread, coffee, and fruit to eat, which is very good.

The hotel is conveniently located near popular attractions such as Shilin Night Market (a 5-minute walk), the National Palace Museum, and the National Planetarium. Further north, you'll find Tamsui, Yangmingshan, and Tianmu. There were no complaints about the room, except that the window faced the neighboring building and couldn't open to the outside. The room felt airtight and stuffy upon entering. The hotel staff were very helpful with directions and recommendations for nearby attractions, and were patient when inquiring for assistance.
