It is very convenient. It is about 10 minutes' drive from Fengjia Tourist Night Market. The room is decorated in a classic style. The bed is moderately soft and hard, and I find it comfortable and easy to sleep in. The swimming pool saunas are open, and reservations are required before using the saunas. The breakfast menu is rich, including Taichung's special fried noodles with Dongquan chili sauce. The freshly squeezed juice is delicious. My boyfriend who lives with me also likes the breakfast dishes. Evergreen Laurel Hotel Taichung is considered a five-star hotel with a high CP value in Taiwan. Although the building and equipment have a sense of age, they feel that they have been carefully maintained. I will visit again next time I come to Taichung!

The Lin is located right next to a nice park and there are many restaurants across the street. There is also a mall right behind it for other food options. The breakfast buffet was delicious. There were many different types of cuisines to pick from and the food tasted great.

There are many people in the surrounding parks and it is quite lively. It is not noisy when sleeping at night. The only drawback is that it is difficult to find parking spaces, but there are still vacancies on the roadside at night. The overall stay is good. The breakfast is delicious. It is the first time I have tacos for breakfast. The cake is delicious and has a high CP value!

Location is very very good, but bed and pillows are the worst ever! I could not sleep because the mattress springs were literally in my back, pillow very bad. Also, the check in until really really late, this means, for example, that in the dorm I was, at midnight we were 3, and at 4 AM we were 7! 4 people arrived during the night and even if they've been very respectful, still 4 people make some noise. Bed curtains need to be changed, I had the chill from the a/c direct on me. Receptionists are very very helpful, kind and speak a good English!

The hotel's location is very convenient, being close to both the Taichung train station and the Miyahara ice cream shop. Cleanliness is excellent, but one area that needs improvement is the air conditioning—it wasn't quite cool enough during my stay. They did provide a fan to help with air circulation in the room, which was appreciated. Overall, a decent stay with great accessibility to transport and local attractions.

A lot of convenience store nearby and two vegetarian shops located near the hotel the other one just at a corridor beside the hotel. Amenities: give some tea and coffee. Water heater provides. Hair dryer provided. Towels provided. Some self service can take from counter one time use shaver, toothbrush and toothpaste, indoor shoes. I booked this hotel as it stated that there are parking lots. When I came to check in, staff only said that there were not available and directed me to the near by parking where I have to pay fee. Staff who are at the counter check in were not so friendly, unlike the staff who are at the breakfast entrance and in front of the elevator area, they were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and we got the view where we can see the main train station.

The hotel itself is very old and some parts definitely need to be refurbished and refurnished. I had issues with the door lock, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helped me fix my issue. The hotel has all necessities I needed as a solo traveler, but you definitely won’t get any luxury here. For short stays and budget, this hotel may be good, because of its incredible location in the city. In just a few minutes you are at the train station. Next to the hotel are 2 convenience stores. The hotel scores in its really friendly staff and its strategic location. However the building and the room is very old, the bed takes time getting used to and definitely needs an overall upgrade!
