Hotels in Yi-Chung Bazaar, Taichung

Comfortable, hygienic and clean👍🏻 There are many restaurants nearby👍🏻 At about 2 o'clock in the afternoon, because the shops all needed to rest, I went out to look for a long time before I found a lunch box to fill my stomach 👌🏻 I love sitting in the lobby, there are very exquisite furnishings, magazines and books to borrow, just like being in a high-end coffee shop, soft music, various coffee drinks, snacks and biscuits... everything is available👍🏻 The location is not ideal, it takes more than 15 minutes to walk from the MRT station👎🏻

The hotel service is very good, the counter staff is friendly and kind The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated and there are Japanese kimonos for rent for photo taking. The room facilities are normal, except for the bathroom which is a bit off Especially for taking a shower, the shower head is a bit old and the hot water is difficult to control 

My stay at Forbest Hotel was enjoyable overall. The location was excellent, with easy access to attractions and transportation. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The room was spacious and well-furnished, providing great comfort during my stay. The food at the restaurant was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. However, the cleanliness of the room could have been better, as it didn’t meet my expectations.

Hotel is located at a great location, nice facilities and good cleanliness in my room. My only feedback is that for people who drive, please be aware. The carpark entrance is at the back entrance of the hotel where the convenience stall is located. This hotel uses an Over Car Bonnet Storage system. We were greeted unpleasantly by the carpark assistant (an old man), not only were we not allowed to unload our luggage before parking, he didn't even bother assisting us with our carriage. To make matters worst, we saw him help another guest on arrival that was behind us at that time, to unload their luggage and give them guidance in parking. On my last day, i was awoken by the hotel staff through the hotel phone. They told me that my car was not parked properly and they could not activate the lever system for the carpark. Yes i would apologize if i have parked off by 2cm outwards, but I was woken up rudely in the morning after a long tiring night before with no apologies whatsoever. A note to future hotel guest, if you intend to have your car parked in the hotel, please be mindful the space is not very SUV friendly.

I checked into room 810 on 2/8/2011. The toilet tank was faulty and the hotel's in-house phone was not connected. I informed the front desk and requested a room change, but I had an appointment with a friend and had to go out urgently. The answer was that I could not change rooms and they would ask the plumbers and electricity staff to repair it. After the party, I came back to see that the room was not cleaned very well after the repair. There was still water under the trash can, and the wet foot mat was not replaced. It was obvious that it was just wiped casually. Because the family was tired and the children were sleeping, I wanted to call the counter, but the telephone line was still not installed. I was very dissatisfied with this. Then because of the cold wave, the room was very cold, even colder than the corridor outside. I went to the first floor to ask the counter if there was a heater installed. The response was no. I also asked about the telephone line, so that I wouldn’t have to run downstairs if something happened. The reaction of the counter at night was panic and I didn’t know how to deal with it. I couldn’t bear to look for it here and there and didn’t want to install it anymore. After returning to the room and preparing to go to sleep, cold wind kept coming in through the floor-to-ceiling window, and I was covering the child with a quilt all night. When I checked out the next day, I forgot to take a box of Dahu strawberries from the refrigerator. I called the hotel and found out that it had been thrown away by housekeeping. My child’s memories were also thrown away. Actually, I left a phone number when I checked in, so why didn’t I call? Our attractions are all nearby and we can come back and get them right away. All of this really makes me so angry.

OLAH Poshtel Taichung Wenxin is a nice hotel,. Friendly staff provided local information, clean room, close to MRT station. And also have cup noodles for snack at night. As for breakfast , they give you McDonald’s voucher.

I have stayed at Creative Fashion Hotel several times. Last time I stayed on the 5th floor, and the room had residual smoke. This time I specially noted the quiet non-smoking room, and it was indeed arranged on the 2nd floor. I was very satisfied with the non-smoking room. It is very convenient to walk and ride ubike from Yizhong Street. I will choose it again next time in Taichung. The breakfast is very rich and the accommodation service is satisfactory and worthwhile. The bathroom also has a bathtub and is super spacious, with a high CP value.

I had a few tough days but I would like to go back again! As expected, the bed was small and the room tiny. I was woken a few times at night due to the snoring of the guy above. The 3 bathrooms shared by the whole floor were tiny. However... The price was very low. The location, even though not the best, was not too bad. The toilets were equipped with the Japanese style cleaning machine, unbelievable and unheard of at a hostel! I did see a small cockroach in the toilets but it is Taichung. I avoided the rush hours (early morning and late at night) so I was often the only one using the toilets! If there is one thing I do not like, it is the hours of the public area. It was not open until after 8 am. Too late and inconvenient. I had no place to go as the room was tiny. I had to stay at a 7-11 to wait for the public area to open. Highly recommend!

Everything was fine and we family of four had a pleasant 2 night stay in Talmud. Bed are comfortable and clean. If you are a Taiwan night market lover, the location is superb.

Very comfortable and clean hotel. There is no service staff after 11pm. Remember to bring your card to the door. The bed and quilt are very comfortable. The pillow is moderately soft and hard. The TV screen is large and looks very enjoyable. The toilet is smart.
