Hotels in Yi-Chung Bazaar, Taichung

The location is close to Yizhong Business District, and you can reach the downtown area on foot. There are also separate garages and business rooms here. Those who drive have special considerations and do not want to park outside. Please pay attention when choosing a room type. The room seems to only have air conditioning, and the heating setting cannot be adjusted, which will be a bit troublesome when it's cold.

There is a mirror in the bathroom, but there is no socket to use a hair dryer or hair dryer. There are many sockets in the room but no standing mirror or makeup mirror. Long hair needs to use it, which is inconvenient. It is recommended to provide it. Another thing to improve is hygiene, cotton The sheets were pulled open and had stains, which was not good. I hope it can be improved. I still want to book a room again next time.

This is my 2nd time staying with Olah and 2nd time experiencing issues with their WiFi. On both occasions the in-room WiFi either did not work or was extremely slow. For a hotel supposedly built in 2024 certain parts of the room looked old (tap was wobbly?). Service was excellent though. Free instant noodles at night but breakfast was rather mediocre.

The room is comfortable and clean, with large space, many sockets, separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, and a big TV screen, which makes it feel like watching a movie. The disadvantages are that the drainage in the bathroom is not very good and the sound insulation is slightly poor. The transportation is located in the city center and there are many delicious foods to choose from nearby! I like the chill feeling in the lobby, with light music, books to read, coffee and snacks. The atmosphere is completely relaxing as soon as you enter the door.

There's a lot that I like about this hotel. Our room was nice and large for the price. The decor in our room was beautiful, especially the wooden furniture. The toiletries by Cha Tzu Tang are the best! The location was great for us, being near or very near to useful bus lines. I would love to see more fresh fruit in the breakfast buffet. I would *really* like it if they have black coffee as an option in the room. (Inhouse Hotel Grand: If you're reading this, please can we have black coffee in the rooms that we can make for ourselves?)

This is a small cosy boutique hotel. Got a tea/coffee area for guests. The location is not near to any MRT stations but can commute to all the venues by buses. Alot of eateries around the hotel so all meals are convenient if you don't want to venture too far. Chungyu mall is about 15 mins walk away.

Clean environment. Quiet place. It's close to places to eat and night market. It's modern looking. But the dark interior makes it feel a little moody. Wifi in my room was sketchy. No washing machine to wash clothes though. I wouldn't stay again because I didn't find the area particularly interesting. I stayed in the 6 bed room. That had a window. 

My stay at Forbest Hotel was enjoyable overall. The location was excellent, with easy access to attractions and transportation. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The room was spacious and well-furnished, providing great comfort during my stay. The food at the restaurant was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. However, the cleanliness of the room could have been better, as it didn’t meet my expectations.

The room is large, with space for suitcases and a plug socket for Malaysia. The location is great, with the No.1 Middle School business district just downstairs, very lively and crowded. We live on the top floor so it's not noisy. Taking the bus is also very convenient. Just follow Google to find out which bus number to take and which stop to get off at. The hotel is about 20 minutes' walk from the Second Market and Miyahara Eye Clinic. It is very convenient to take the bus in Taichung.

I checked into room 810 on 2/8/2011. The toilet tank was faulty and the hotel's in-house phone was not connected. I informed the front desk and requested a room change, but I had an appointment with a friend and had to go out urgently. The answer was that I could not change rooms and they would ask the plumbers and electricity staff to repair it. After the party, I came back to see that the room was not cleaned very well after the repair. There was still water under the trash can, and the wet foot mat was not replaced. It was obvious that it was just wiped casually. Because the family was tired and the children were sleeping, I wanted to call the counter, but the telephone line was still not installed. I was very dissatisfied with this. Then because of the cold wave, the room was very cold, even colder than the corridor outside. I went to the first floor to ask the counter if there was a heater installed. The response was no. I also asked about the telephone line, so that I wouldn’t have to run downstairs if something happened. The reaction of the counter at night was panic and I didn’t know how to deal with it. I couldn’t bear to look for it here and there and didn’t want to install it anymore. After returning to the room and preparing to go to sleep, cold wind kept coming in through the floor-to-ceiling window, and I was covering the child with a quilt all night. When I checked out the next day, I forgot to take a box of Dahu strawberries from the refrigerator. I called the hotel and found out that it had been thrown away by housekeeping. My child’s memories were also thrown away. Actually, I left a phone number when I checked in, so why didn’t I call? Our attractions are all nearby and we can come back and get them right away. All of this really makes me so angry.
