Taichung Xinshe District Hotels

This time I wanted to go to Dongshi Forest Farm to enjoy the fireflies, but the surrounding accommodation was fully booked. I went to the new society to find it, and accidentally found the flower field homestay. Simple and clean, book soon after reference reviews. Parking is convenient, the owner kindly explained the facilities, breakfast, public space... etc. of the homestay. Also very enthusiastic about introducing recommended restaurants nearby. The next day, breakfast was prepared very carefully, and the grass in the courtyard was also very beautiful. The price is also very fair; just because the neighbors fall asleep early, it is not appropriate to make noise after 10 pm.

The environment of the homestay is clean, the public areas are also very clean, the view on the top floor is beautiful, you can overlook the mountains of the new club and the east. The boss also provides free coffee and specialties (good oranges are very sweet!!) Breakfast in the open-air coffee shop on the top floor is really a wonderful enjoyment. In addition, the owner of the hotel also introduced the local delicious organic grapes, mushrooms and tomatoes, and the special locations of the new club. Hotel is located just 2 mins always from train station, very convenient for transfer any public transportation. And The main reason i choose this property because it’s just across to my favourite Foam Cat Cafe. I can see it from window room. 7-11 just a minute away. Breakfast not many varieties but ok for local hotel. Staffs are very helpful and good English Skill.

Very nice motel. Price reasonable. Staff good service and friendly. Plenty of kids friendly hotel decorations. Location strategic and near Taichung train station. Highly recommended.

This hotel located near the old train station. If you took the highspeed rail to Taichung you have to transfer to a bus or a railway train to get to the hotel. There are no MRT station near the hotel. Either you take a taxi or bus. The room has a maximum of two persons, I stayed with a roommate since the room I booked is a dormitory. The room is super clean and big enough for one person, with one shower room shared by two roommate. The are laundry and dryer available. There is a rooftop where you can enjoy the star at night. I will definitely stay here again if I ever return to Taichung.

This hotel is centrally located, close to Tainan Station, with convenient access to dining, shopping, and transportation. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, including luggage storage, laundry, and taxi booking. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the hotel offers reasonable prices. I particularly enjoyed the view from the window; it was visually pleasing, with good ventilation and plenty of sunlight.

The air conditioning system is a bit big (the service staff told me that the temperature is being adjusted) but it takes too long... We are on a business trip for work... we need to write it off Unable to issue unified invoice⋯Somewhat unreasonable

The appearance of the hotel is relatively old, but the rooms are okay. The hot water was very unstable in the morning, one moment was cold and the other was super hot. The air conditioner is amazing. It was originally 21.5, but I adjusted it to 25. When I woke up the next day, it was still 21.5. Poor soundproofing. The hotel is very close to Taichung Railway Station and two night markets, about 20 minutes' walk.

Just a few minutes' walk from Taichung Station. Amenities are available upon request at the front desk, as they are not provided in the room. The bed consists of two single beds pushed together, leaving an uncomfortable ridge in the middle. It's a smart TV, so you can mirror your smartphone to it. A mini-fridge and safe are available. There's no power outlet conveniently located near the electric kettle. While the room only has a small window, it's definitely better than having none. Love the Panasonic Washlet! 😍 There were no signs indicating not to flush toilet paper down the toilet. The shower had perfect water pressure and temperature. Although I didn't use them, a washing machine and dryer are available on the 13th floor. The washing machine costs 30 TWD for 60 minutes, and the dryer is 10 TWD for 20 minutes.

This was my first experience staying in a capsule hotel. The location proved convenient, being close to the train station (though not the THSR High Speed Rail station) and within easy reach of the main attractions. The pod itself was clean, and while the bathroom could have been slightly cleaner, it was adequate. The rooms provided large lockers, comfortably accommodating my 26-inch luggage and a large backpack. Overall, I had a positive stay.
