THE METRO HOTEL

飯店比較舊，有點味道，但還能接受，位置很方便，價錢優惠。房間內基本的設備都有提供，洗髮精、沐浴乳都很不錯。

We booked a triple room, but the room we checked into was completely different from the one advertised, with a smaller interior. The battery in the electronic door lock was dead, preventing it from locking automatically. This provided absolutely no security, especially since the reservation had already been made and the room had been fully paid for before check-in. They didn't even bother checking the room properly, and only replaced the battery after we reported it to the front desk. Upon check-in, they only gave us one key card, claiming it was standard practice for all hotels. They've always given us two key cards for double rooms, but they only gave us one for a triple room. They only reluctantly gave us a second card after asking, even though we were three people, and they still only gave us two! Breakfast is served in separate time slots, requiring us to register our time slot upon check-in. Breakfast is only served for 40 minutes. Coffee is not provided, so we had to buy it ourselves! The advertising photos misled us, and this stay was a very unpleasant experience for our friends and family from Taipei visiting Taichung.
