KKuen HawThe hotel is near fengjia night market. All toiletries are provided in the hotel room. There is a lounge with complimentary snacks and hot beverages. There is also a laundry area for you to wash your clothes.
Overall, excellent stay. Will book the hotel again if I come Taichung.

GGuest UserThere's a lot that I like about this hotel. Our room was nice and large for the price. The decor in our room was beautiful, especially the wooden furniture. The toiletries by Cha Tzu Tang are the best! The location was great for us, being near or very near to useful bus lines. I would love to see more fresh fruit in the breakfast buffet. I would *really* like it if they have black coffee as an option in the room. (Inhouse Hotel Grand: If you're reading this, please can we have black coffee in the rooms that we can make for ourselves?)

SSEANIEBEEA 5 star hotel that deserves its rating. Rooms are comparable with Sheraton/Hilton etc... it's a well-oiled machine and everyone was efficient and kind. Shout out to my namesake SEAN in the Prime restaurant on the roof who took care of us with a memorable Christmas dinner. One for any short list in Taichung.

AAnonymous UserLocation - I’m not sure if we just missed out on what’s nearby. But we did walk on the sides, we were searching around of what’s there to see. We didn’t see much, like we realized after walking for a few minutes that we just found the convenient store which is kinda far if that was the nearest available (or again, there could be one the other side we don’t know haha).
So after walking around, and realizing there’s nothing much to see. We already booked an Uber going to the night market.
It wasn’t that far from the HSR Station. I couldn’t remember the exact distance and travel time. But if I find it far I’d normally remember it and say it.
Service - it was an easy check-in and check-out. Though, I almost forgot to get a receipt. Had to proactively ask for one. Luckily we decided to stay for a bit after checking out, we remembered it and got to request for it.
I like how they already asked upon checking in if we need a room cleaning service. That was convenient.
The breakfast was so so (on my personal taste bud). Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t that bad.
I love the room the most! We were happy about how spacious it is. And it has an AI box which we loved. The bathtub has a tv, the shower area was spacious, the ambience of the room, hallways and lobby. The free snacks. The brand of the body wash and conditioner. The free Nescafe machine in the lobby.
I’d definitely recommend it and I’d stay here again.
(Though I still have a pending concern that I have to figure out myself, cause the amount showing in the invoice was different from the amount showing on tha app. Haven’t checked how much was the final amount taken out on my card)

MMarie_KkfI had a wonderful experience at the Holiday Inn in Taichung! The location is absolutely perfect, with easy access to all the main attractions, even when driving a car. The parking situation was smooth and hassle-free. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout my stay. I truly felt welcomed and well taken care of. I would definitely stay here again!

NNicholas Wei XiangReally love the industrial themed looking hotel, gave it a really unique experience, with different aesthetic corners at level 1 to sit, enjoy a cup of coffee and read a book.
Walking distance to Yi Zhong night market, location was great, very convenient and close to many of the shops we wanted to patronise.
Room was clean, bed was comfortable, room size was descent, enough to fit two medium sized luggage on the floor. Water pressure was great.

Breakfast is served with local dishes, bread and soy milk
The only downside is check out time is 11 am and strictly no extension. Any extension is chargeable.
Will stay again if I visit Taichung.

Llorraine0323I like it very much. I thought I had booked the water slide, but I found out that I had booked the wrong one. However, the room is also very good, with two toilets. The sauna is really comfortable, and it is also very nice to go to the massage pool at night. I took my children to the massage pool to release their energy. The massage pool has shallow steps, so there is no need to worry about the baby having no place to stand. It is highly recommended as a family hotel!
