The location is convenient, and you can walk to the busy Circular Quary. But every time you go out, you have to walk on a dark slope to walk to the light train station. In addition, I don’t know if there is a rescue station or hospital nearby. I can hear the sound of emergency vehicles in the morning and at night.
We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment, which was quite spacious. The facilities were very good, including dishes, laundry detergent, and dishwashing liquid. However, we had to ask the front desk for the special detergent for the dishwasher. Towels were also changed every day. The room was generally clean.

I frequently travel to Australia for work, and this time I chose the Swissbel Hotel at 5 York, Sydney. The hotel's location is in the city center, which is very convenient for getting around. However, the furniture is quite old, including the TV, bed, sofa, etc. They need to be replaced and upgraded considering the price. The bedroom doesn't have blackout curtains, so waking up late is impossible. The soundproofing of the glass windows is poor, and there's some noise from the traffic outside. Or, it might be better to consider other hotels if possible.

Great Views and Friendly Seẻvice
Stayed here for a few nights and really enjoyed it! The apartment was huge with a great balcony offering stunning city views. The kitchen and laundry facilities were super convenient, making it feel like a home away from home. The staff were warm and welcoming, always ready to assist. The only small issue was some noise from the street at night, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Overall, a wonderful stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney!

A family of five traveled, and apartments were the first choice. Accommodation in Sydney was expensive during the Chinese New Year. This hotel was a little more cost-effective. It was located in the city center, and it was convenient to go anywhere. The Grand Theater was an 18-minute walk away. The facilities were very complete, and you could cook by yourself. The front desk guy was also very friendly. I didn't know how to use the induction cooker during the period, and the guy came to help me. It was right next to the elevated road. People with light sleep should choose it carefully. There were still some hygiene issues. The bed sheets had dirty marks and were not changed during the stay. I felt oxygen on the third day. It is best to bring disposable bed sheets and quilt covers. Cleaning only changed towels and took out the trash. Maybe the lack of service is indeed a feature of Australia.
I chose a two-bedroom apartment, but there was actually a small room with a double bed in the living room.

first i got a terribly dirty room, but they switched it within 24 hours. new room was perfect. whole apartment with all you need. pool is ok, whirlpool, both outside. gym is not much space. location is good.

Friendly and helpful staff and in a great location! Breakfast is at a nearby hotel and is very nice with a good variety. Sydney is an expensive city so the kitchen facilities are useful so you don’t need to eat out all the time. Also very useful to have a washing machine and dryer. I would highly recommend this hotel.
