You literally can hear the downstairs music from bar clearly unless you require for an upper level.
Staff can just offer basic information about the city.
Almost 100aud per night is not worth of money at all

Very close to metro station, just behind town hall. There is a pub just on the same building. Located in the happening area. Plenty of super markets and restaurants nearby. Best budget place to stay in Sydney.

I had booked a double room. It was small but had everything you needed, including a private bathroom. My room was at the very end of the hallway and you had to go up and down a lot of stairs. Not recommended if you have a heavy suitcase. There is a shared living room/lounge with a number of sofas, ping-pong tables and work stations. There are always people here. There is also something organized by the hostel every day. The staff is very friendly and helpful!
