We recommend lowering your tire pressure to 15-20 psi so bring a tire pressure gauge along. Tires can be re-inflated at any of the area gas stations or the county put in FREE air stations at the Historic Corolla Park, 1100 Club Road, Corolla. The Park is on the sound side of the road. Turn in at the park road, make a right at the stop sign and another quick right into the gravel parking lot. The air up stations will be at the end of the lot. Check area tide charts prior to arrival. Low tide is ideal for beach driving. Follow all posted speed limits (35 mph or 15 mph when within 300 feet of pedestrians or wild horses). Drive on the hard-packed sand near the edge of the water or close to the dunes. Leave the middle of the beach available for parked vehicles. Drivers must be 16 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. ATVs are not permitted. Also, Currituck County does not allow personal motorized watercraft on the ocean. Jet skis and personal motorboats are allowed on the Currituck Sound. The closest boat ramp is located at the Whalehead Club in Corolla. Due to shallow water and grass, this ramp is suitable for small craft only. This brand new, secluded, rear condo is situated a short walk from the beach, across the street from the historic Whalehead Club, Corolla Park, and Corolla Light Town Center, which is located directly behind the community. In addition, the Outer Banks 4x4 Beach access is 3 minutes away. This brand-new community has a pool and cabanas for rent (in season). The unit is a short walk from the pool and the beach. The unit consists of 2 bedrooms both with new king size beds, a queen size sleeper sofa, 2 full bathrooms that include a starter kit with shampoo, conditioner and soap. The fully stocked, large kitchen is set for all of your cooking needs and includes dishwashing and laundry tabs. The kitchen has a large center island with plenty of seating. In addition, we have provided a Keurig (K cup pods), regular coffee maker and an electric kettle for the beverage of your choice. The gourmet kitchen has a huge island with a built in wine/beverage fridge, and bar stools for 4. The dining room has space for 10, and can be used as a work or game area too. Large sectional and an easy chair makes a cozy area for conversation or watching TV. WiFi is included. Enjoy the patio with a picnic table that seats 6-8, additional chairs, gas grill and an outdoor shower to rinse the sand off after a day at the beach. Community pool is close by, and also the pickleball court, exercise room and the clubhouse.
