Southwest Penang Island Hotels with Pools

Semuanya best-best! 2.30pm arrived Mula dari welcome drinks. Checkin-in yang smooth, terus dapat kunci. 1st day terus pegi mandi swimming pool, as our kids nak sangat2 pegi mandi terus. Level 3, infinity pool. Manakala kids pool at lvl 1. Senang ke private beach. Bersih! Cantik! Sementara menunggu malam, kami beli jajan lokcing di hujung pantai (penjual melayu). Bath tub sangat spacious! Our room memang requested SEAVIEW. Luas pulak tu. Malam keluar makan, ke restoran steamboat Mr.Boat. Hari kedua, breakfast memandangkan kami 2 adult, we purchased for additional 3kids breakfast. (30perkid) MashaAllah, dari western,Mediterranean & malay cuisine pun ada. Kids section for food pun ada. Drinks from coffee to booster drinks memang tip top. *************! Untuk island hoping kami book di perkampungan nelayan, dan minta boat pick us up at the hotel beach. Sangat bagus, boleh elak dari kereta berpasir. Seharian la bertahan coz we enjoy the food so much! Malam ke bukit bendera, view lampu2 cantik! Esoknya check out awal. Terima kasih angsana hotel. Oh ya breakfast for last day, still sedap dan banyak pilihan. 🥰🥰 will definitely repeat. Lepas ni maybe lepak dalam hotel jela, Sbb everything dah siap ada inside the hotel 😆😆.

This must be the most pleasant hotel quarantine i have done so far. I have a room with a balcony that overlooks the sea on one side and the hills on the other. Last night i watched the sun set, and this morning i did my exercises in thesea breeze, and could see the birds flying around in the trees. A special thank you to the hotel reservation team - Hasrol has been so helpful. He made sure i got the rooms i requested (we are a family group, so wanted adjoining rooms as well), kept us updated as the quarantine procedures kept changing, and made sure we had the documents we needed for smooth clearance through the airport on arrival. What a difference it makes to have professional and caring staff, especially when attempting travel during the Covid pandemic.

The breakfast was good, the fried chicken was very delicious, the curry with nasi lemak was great, but there were not many kinds of vegetables and fruits. The parking lot is free, but there are not many cars, the service is very good, check in and check out have parking handles to help carry your luggage and then take you from the room to your parking location. Without TV, the telephone signal and network signal are not very good. The forest is here to cut off from the world.

New hotel and very clean rooms. Very comfortable bed and pillow. Love the muji vibes in the rooms. Only 10mins away from Queensbay. Staff are all friendly and courteous. Will definitely stay again.

Overall satisfied with our stay. Our kid had fun enjoying the kid-friendly facilities. The room is built with quality furnishings and materials from tubs, pool to toilet accessories. Beds are king-sized and super comfy. They provide Nescafe, selection of tea and bottles of drinking water. Checking-in was smooth supported by friendly and helpful staffs.

This was our 1st time at Amari Spice but from the on set was a bad experience. Driving into the hotel I could not drive to the lobby entrance to drop my family & luggage as it was blocked for some reason best known to Amari. Security at the entrance was of no help & I ended up blocking the way of a car at the back. What was supposed to be destress trip, started off on bad note. Anyway cursing Amari Spice for being worst than a 1 star hotel, I reversed back into the lobby entrance. Told this bad experience while checking in to the front office staff but they were not bothered  Going to the room found the mattress to be too soft sinking when you lay down & the air cond temp tops up at 26.5 degress, not everyone likes the room super cold. These 2 shortcomings are something that you wld not find in a 4 or 5 star hotels but looks like Amari is still figuring out where they stand. Even many 3 star hotels are better. Moving to the shower both rain & hand shower water flow was dispointing at best with temperature regulation being a challenge. Since my home is at Bukit Jambu & the main reason of chosing Amari was to destress, which was not possible with the said room conditions, I had to leave my family both nights to head home to rest. The matteress, shower & air cond at home the best. Wondering how Amari claims to be home away from home. On a good note the staff were courteous & friendly. Inclosing would I stay at Amari Spice again. NO.

Overall quite good. The suite is very spacious, amenities are good. We had conference at the SPICE Convention centre, easily able to grab there in about 10 mins. The only downside is the room is not too soundproof. Every night there is a mini concert nearby by residents at the area which we can hear from our rooms

This hotel is located near the Bayan Lepas International Airport which is very convenient to air travelers. Parking is easy and close to the building. The plus point of this hotel is the room which is large and spacious. The cafe is easily accessable and the prices are reasonable. You must try their mi goreng sotong......The serving is huge and tasty. Front office staff are helpful and friendly and for the present room rate they are charging, it is worth for a second visit. We went for Afgan Concert at Spice Arena Penang on 28th. The hotel is just by foot. It just literally in front of the Arena. The room is in very good shape, very clean, all amenities are function and it is very comfortable to stay in this hotel. I will seek to stay in this hotel again.The bathroom is well keep maintain, towel is thick and comfy.

Cozy, neat, tidy and wonderfully decorated room. Convenient location, close to an amazing shopping mall, QB, and nearby shops & eateries. The only disappointing point is we had to queue up for a long time because most staffs were out for lunch and therefore guests had to bear with them when checking out. We are wondering if this can be sorted out by letting guests drop off the door card in the check out box rather than processing it manually.
