Batu Layar Hotels with Pools

Le cadre de l’hôtel est magnifique, d’une beauté paradisiaque. Le jardin est très bien entretenu et les espaces communs décorés avec goût. On apprécie passer du temps au bord de la piscine avec vue sur la mer. Le personnel est très bienveillant, accueillant et toujours souriant. La chambre très grande, avec une salle de bain extérieure ce qui est insolite pour nous européens (il n’y a pas de salle de bain intérieure ). Le seul bémol est le petit déjeuner qui n’est pas un buffet. Il faut cocher sur un papier notre choix. N’étant pas bilingue difficile de bien comprendre ce que l’on mange. Enfin nous avons eu la mauvaise surprise de payer 8€ pour deux café americano car à priori ce n’était pas compris dans le petit déjeuner. Et même si nous avions compris qu’il y avait un supplément, ce prix est exorbitant en Indonésie. La politique du petit déjeuner est clairement à revoir pour un hôtel de ce standing.

I have stayed a few days in a few of the places in lombok as well as Senggigi. Look no further, just boook this place. It's the best choice! Services was too notched. Some other resorts or villas that's we've stayed around the area was not as good as Jeeva santai even though some priced higher than Jeeva. Breakfast was superb. Although it's ala carte, u can keep refill till you're full enough. Try their fried rice! Room was spacious and love their roomy bathroom! Will definitely come back again!

And for those days when the sand gets a little too much, there’s a rooftop pool! 🏊♂️ After a long day of exploring, cooling off up there is a treat. The staff? Super friendly! 😊 They even helped arrange our transport to Gili T, making the whole experience stress-free. If you want a convenient, comfortable place to stay in Senggigi, this one’s worth checking out! ✅

### Pros * **Fantastic Views and Relaxation**: The views are simply stunning, making your stay a truly healing experience. * **Excellent Pool and Bathtub Design**: The private pool and bathtub are connected, offering a convenient layout where you can easily move from swimming to a warm bath if you get chilly. * **Convenient Transportation (Buggy Service)**: A complimentary buggy service is available for getting around the area. Requests via WhatsApp receive quick and prompt responses, which is very convenient. * **Service and Breakfast**: The staff are friendly, and the breakfast offers a wide variety and excellent taste. ### Cons * **Poor Soundproofing and Noise Issues**: Despite being a standalone villa, TV noise seemed to seep in from somewhere, which was disappointing for sound insulation. Motorcycle noise from the surroundings was easily audible, and the mosque's dawn prayer calls were so loud they woke me up. Although the accommodation provides earplugs, they were ineffective against the volume. * **Lackluster Surrounding Infrastructure**: There aren't many places to go nearby. The local restaurants tend to be upscale and expensive, with limited options for more affordable dining. ### Conclusion [Despite the regrettable surrounding noise and high prices, this accommodation is perfectly suited for a 'Hocance' (hotel vacation), offering complete relaxation with its unparalleled views.] While accessibility and nearby conveniences are somewhat lacking, given that the purpose of this trip was a hotel vacation, the facilities and views within the property alone were enough to ensure a thoroughly satisfying stay.

Very affordable hotel, good location, in the heart of Senggigi, good service, clean and hygienic. We stayed in expensive rooms and cheap rooms, both were worth the money. The best value for money! The only thing worth noting is that since there are many Muslims in Indonesia, there will be a broadcast of prayer every morning, which is very disturbing to sleep. If you are a light sleeper, you may be woken up. But this problem will be more or less in almost all hotels in Lombok.

The resort is located next to pier which is very convient for travellers to and from other island in Indonesia. The site was huge and nicely decorated. The pool was equipped with a volleyball net and water slide which is perfect for everyone. They have daily activities arranged to entertain guests, eg yoga, fun golf etc. A lot of Breakfast options and the food was delicious. The only problem we got was a bit of drainage smell at the toilet and the drainage was slow. All the all, we would love to visit again.

Good location, room was clean just bathroom needs better ventilation as there’s some mold building up on the bathroom door. Staff was nice and they provided very good breakfast.

I requested a room with one large bed instead of two singles when I booked, and again at check-in. They nodded at reception and then ignored it, even though half the hotel was empty. Everywhere, they try to force extra commissions on you when you order anything in the restaurant. The menu should always show the final price; all costs (taxes and so on) should be included. For example, I take a ready-made coffee to go for $4, and they try to tack on a service charge... What service? I'm taking it out, they're not cleaning my table, not giving me a massage. They don't provide an answer. We're not buying coffee beans that they need to prepare and turn into coffee with a service, are we? Let's then charge a land tax, the chef's health insurance, and a disposal fee for the toilet. Are you kidding me? I've visited several cafes in Bali, and nowhere was this the case! One time I encountered it, I called the police and they immediately cancelled all extra charges! Keep this in mind. It's not about the money, but deception is unacceptable.

Facilities: The hotel's facilities are absolutely perfect. Our room, about 70 square meters, featured a modern bathroom with distinct wet and dry zones and a well-appointed bathtub. The impressive, super-sized swimming pool was a highlight. We loved feeling the sea breeze, sipping coffee while gazing at the ocean and listening to the waves, and simply unwinding as we watched the sunrise and sunset. Cleanliness: Exceptionally clean and tidy; everything was spotless. Environment: Perfect. Breakfast: The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious, with their aromatic American coffee being particularly noteworthy. Service: Upon arrival with four suitcases, the staff were incredibly helpful, assisting us with all our luggage without expecting a tip. Their service was warm, attentive, and always delivered with genuine, welcoming smiles.

Mixed feelings The room I initially booked (paid extra for AC and hot water) was just dirty and I could not control the AC bc remote wasn’t working so it was always on I could clearly see that no one had cleaned it (see first three pictures) and tbh bathroom felt unsafe with electric cables next to shower I asked to change and they tried to give to charge me extra for another room - I told them either I have what I paid for (AC and clean bedsheets) either it’s ok they pay me back and I leave The staff said I’d need to talk to the manager and when I said ok bring me the manager they never got them and offered me third room without paying extra (feels dishonest that they didn’t show me this one first) Bedsheets were okayish (so many weird stains, see pictures) but this one had no hot water - and they clearly said that I got downgraded. They wanted me to pay extra for the upgrade but do you think they paid me back the difference for the downgrade? Of course not (feels dishonest to charge extra for things you paid for initially but no pay back when you provide less than was paid for) I don’t know how much a hotel like this needs a pool (which was really nice by the way) when they’re so close to the beach. Maybe they should put the pool budget into clean rooms and hot water lol
