I stayed in this hotel and enjoyed the facilities very quiet , Nice location and breakfast ….. We loved the enthusiastic of the staff specially the housekeeping Lady her name is AICHA. Was super excellent very friendly and helpful .. will stay again and again in this place

Excellent

Loved our stay at Le Grand Hotel! The front desk was so welcoming and we loved our room (which had just been renovated). The room was not large but very standard size for France. The bathroom was bright and clean. The air conditioning worked very well which we were grateful for since it was quite warm during our visit. The hotel is in the city center and a quick 1 block walk to a tram station where you can go just about anywhere in the city (or beyond via the train station). There are also so many restaurants, retail shops, cafes, pharmacy and a grocery all nearby. It is a very short walk to the cable cars which take you up to Fort de la Bastille with sweeping views and a cool museum. If we ever venture back to Grenoble we will definitely return to Le Grand!

GGuest UserIt is very close to the train station. You can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance. The room is also relatively large. I arrived at night and there was no place to eat around. Maybe it was because I was unfamiliar with the place. But the hotel provides it, which is convenient

GGuest UserSuperior location. The hotel has good facilities. In front of the gate is the river. It's safe, too. I do a lot of running in the morning. Next to it is a new shopping mall. Later, I found that there are many noodles to eat. You can also see the scenery outside. Very good.

GGuest UserI don’t normally write reviews but I am very grateful to the staff (owners?) Of this hotel as I arrived in quite a stressful state (a long story to do with the Tour de France in a broken down van). They made me feel most welcome and did everything they could to put me at ease. I stayed one day and was a stress monkey throughout which must’ve been quite annoying to them but they went out of their way to help me (they let me stay and sort out my plans even though the hotel was closing for that weekend) and were genuinely sympathetic to my plight. They are warm and genuinely nice people. I hope to stay when I can relax and enjoy it because it’s a lovely hotel.

GGuest UserThe friends we went to from the airport were very convenient. It would be great if we took a taxi directly. Then the front desk service was very friendly. We stayed in so many hotels and felt that the price performance of the hotel was very high. Recommended

GGuest User#Praise# for nearby activities, security, toiletries, nearby stores, location, cost-effective satisfaction; this hotel is the best I have felt for many tolerances and private tours in France, of course, it refers to the price/performance ratio. Especially living in room 502, a leap-floor apartment, plus a 15-square-meter terrace, you can overlook the snowy mountains and cliffs on both sides of the east and west, unobstructed. Stayed for three days to enjoy the sunrise and sunset of the snowy mountains of the Albis continuous mountains. The sun dyed the snowy mountains colorfully at different times and changed endlessly. The fifteenth moon rose from behind the snowy mountains in the evening, and the sun and moon were shining. The long-lost starry sky in the night sky is displayed in front of you. It's really beautiful, spectacular, and charming. We cooked our own dinner to the table on the terrace, accompanied by the sun and the moon, looked up at the stars, and spent an unforgettable day of sightseeing. Thank you Geller, thank you Carrera Apartment Hotel! We will meet again next time, stay at this hotel, and stay at 502.

GGuest UserA chic hotel, booked room 18 m2. In fact it is a whole apartment, for dogs accommodation for 6 euros. we had 2 small dogs, even bowls and dishes for us. I advise everyone, I am delighted. The best place at least 4 stars. Resepschn is always working for a man ready to help, printed us tickets at 4 a.m.

GGuest UserThe Residhome Appart Hotel at the “Caserne de Bonne” in Grenoble was one of my classics in the pre-COVID era, and I came back to it recently in the context of a business trip to Grenoble. I was very happy to see that the excellent service, rooms and facilities are still in order. Obviously, we should not forget the amazing location of this hotel, right in the centre of Grenoble (with thus a bunch of shops and restaurants around). I therefore recommend it to anyone interested in a short visit to Grenoble. The room was very nice and clean, and large enough so that I could also work from it and prepare some refreshments in the kitchen space. My room only had a ceiling window, but I was not there for the view so that it was totally fine with me (although this may incommode some). Very importantly, the bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby. In my reservation, breakfast was included, and I must say that it is a bit better when compared with other hotels of the same category in the Rhone-Alpes region (all basics are there, including in particular a great selection of cheese). Finally, the personnel of the hotel are friendly and always helpful.

A very poor experience for us at this hotel. Extremely small rooms, one small lift to service the entire hotel and the air conditioning didn’t work at all! Our room was stiflingly hot, and when we complained to the manager it was obvious that there was very little he could do. A very disappointing stay at this Mecure and I was very happy to leave it behind! Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else!
