Kora Tigot

Amazing

I had a really lovely stay at Kora Tigot and would definitely stay again. The apartment itself was honestly beautiful, super clean, thoughtfully designed, and one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in. The styling was gorgeous, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the air conditioning worked really well, I barely needed to use it because the apartment stayed cool easily. It genuinely made me happy coming “home” there each night. I booked the mountain view apartment which also overlooked a vacant lot/carpark area, but it was very quiet, got lovely afternoon sun, and wasn’t windy, which I actually appreciated. The location is a little removed from the main tourist areas of Tenerife, but for me that was actually a positive. It felt calmer and more relaxed. I would recommend getting a hire car from the airport - they are very cheap to rent on the island. A few small things could improve the experience further: * The pool closing at 6pm felt quite early, especially in summer. * It would be great if the hotel considered making it adults-only in future, as I think the atmosphere and style of the property really suit a quieter experience. * The apartment kitchen was very well equipped in some ways (there was even a stick blender/juicer), but oddly missing some basics like a tea towel, cooking oil, and more than a couple of salt and pepper sachets, coffee sachets. * The generators outside were also a little noisy at night depending on where the apartment was located. * Service wasn’t always especially warm or welcoming, although I’m not sure whether this was partly a language/cultural difference rather than intentional. Overall though, the quality and design of the accommodation really stood out and I’d happily stay here again.

Excellent 4 days with my girlfriends. Arrived early, at the hotel they promptly adjusted our arrival and allowed us to leave our heavy luggage, in storage. Always friendly helpful with a smile. Highly recommended value for money. A**osphere everything we desired. Thank you Sunset view team

Excellent facilities, the apartment was super clean and very well-equipped. They have a small, a large, and a heated pool, we were extremely comfortable. The receptionist was super friendly and nice. If I had to find one minor flaw, which wasn't an issue for us, it's that the apartment's parking isn't free, it's 12 euros a night. We just parked in the surrounding area. What did bother me a bit was that the pools close at 6 PM, which is super early considering the good weather and wanting to enjoy them a little longer. If God allows, I will definitely be back.

It is a nice resort for a young family. Please note it is quite away from Playa de america beach and on a steep hill. We had our room at the top of the hill, almost felt like going up 4 floors to get to the room. Limited vegetarian options in hot food. This is quite common with any other resort in Canary Islands. So be ready to compromise on it. We got 4 single beds. If you are a couple who need a double bed, this could be a problem 😉. Parking is €5 per day although hotel is far away from beaches. This is something they should provide free. No option outside to park due to steep hill. We requested to move our room lower as my wife has asthma but not much of luck.

It's been 15 years since my last trip to Tenerife and the comments below are based on international five star hotel experiences around the globe. So here's what I experienced on this reservation:- Positives 1.Check in / out process fast and professional. 2.Direct beach access via the pool area. 3.Breakfast buffet with internal and external seating choices was excellent. 4.Evening entertainment between 21:00 and 23:00 Hrs was good. Negatives 1. Allocated R3101 upon arrival and entered to find the bath tub was extremely dirty and required solvent cleaning to remove large accumulation of water scale dirt around plug area (Approx 200mm in dia). Root cause of this problem is a leakage from the shower hose connection which remains to be fixed. 2. TV was on and could not be turned off. This was rectified by Maintenace changing the batteries within the remote control. 3. Sink plunger mechanism was broken and I was shown how to remove the plug on a daily basis once housekeeping cleaned the room. 4. Locking mechanism on the balcony sliding door is broken and extremely hard to open / closed. 5. Only one, yes one pool towel provided / guest at the pool via a plastic card that you are required to exchange at the pool towel bar. If you forget this card it's a return trip to the room. General Travel Tips. 1. Taxi from TFS Airport to hotel cost 25 Euro each way. 2. Hard Rock Cafe located next door (£££). 3. Great Italian, Thai, Japanese and British restaurants located on the second floor off the shopping complex across the road from the hotel (££££)

The hotel has a great bed. Kitchen with household appliances. but the best the jacuzzi q is very big. the pool is also very good. Breakfast was 10€ separate, and I thought it was okay. Generally Recommended. The only thing we didn't like was that we left a bag with clothes and instead of calling to warn her to get out of the bag and there was no way to recover all the contents of xq was already mixed with other things

Lovely hotel at a very good location. Modern, nicely decorated for Christmas. Polite staff, good choice for breakfast and dinner. Christmas dinner was something out of this world( been to many hotels, but Xmas dinner now will be hard to match). Not sure if it is always like this but we were the youngest in the hotel(43&47)during the first part of holidays and only later some other younger people joined us. The average age was 60's 😁 This hotel is not orientated to children but for us it was perfect- no screaming and shouting and our girl had fun in the pool by Herself and her cousin🤣 I wanted to book Spring Hotel Bitacora at first but now I am thinking that I made an excellent choice . That said, I might try it out next time just because of the All nclusive service Bitacora provides. It was a nice quiet stay so if you expect something like Turkey, eith music around the pool, kids disco and shows, this hotel is not for you. We were half board and 4 days we ate at the pool bar and were never disappointed. Good food and reasonable prices. We didn't book UP option because we were with the kids( it's for 18+)but if I ever come without them- I will try it out! Pros: Very good location Modern hotel Heated pools( wheelchair friendly) Good food and service Cons: No shampoo in a room! It's a first for me 🙈 The tiles in the pool (mosaic) need replacement. My daughter filled probably half of the carrier bag from the bottom saw of the pool🤣 All in all- perfect stay and believe me, I am picky. It is one of the hotels I would recommend to my friends and family

This hotel is located on Tenerife in the Canary Islands. It was my first time here and I stayed for 4 nights, but it was very good. The room was spacious and there was a long chair and a small table on the terrace on the first floor, so I was able to see the beautiful stars at night. It's also close to the beach and nightlife spots ⭕️ The receptionist was very kind and helpful. I would like to use it again the next time I visit.

The atmosphere of this honest remains family. Simple but user-friendly. Like every hotel there are positive points and other negative points. The positive points : - 10 minutes from the airport, - 15 minutes from the tourist beaches of Playa Los Americas or Cristinos, and the “holiday” atmosphere of towns like Costa Adeje, - quite a few places to park nearby (note: hotel parking 7€) - theme evenings every evening, in “camping paradise” mode, - the bartender's cocktails: top and wide choice. Reasonable prices. - The size of the rooms, spacious and practical for a family. - Reception staff, friendly and accommodating. One of the receptionists spoke a little French which was a plus but the others, including Javier, were very friendly. - The swimming pool: certainly not heated but you get used to it quickly once you're in and it's big enough, I think... Shallow, 1.40m at the most, appreciated by families. Just one downside, uncivilized people leave their cigarette butts lying around in the planters, which is a shame. The negative points, yes there are even a few 🙄. - Few nature excursions around the hotel... - The decor is very neat and pretty in the entrance, the patios, the swimming pool area but is even a little ”old-fashioned” among other things in the rooms and the dining room. - The auditorium is nice with lots of photos of stars but the “warm, Iberian” colors make it “Vintage”. - The additional costs are not given (30€/night/room for the change of room that we requested and 10€/person for breakfast.) I don't know about the rest... - Another inconvenience: the nauseating odors at certain times of the day or in the evening... And unfortunately, the hotel can't do anything about it because I think it comes from the nearby golf course or from a something that looks like a sewage treatment plant. So, it doesn't last all day or night... or maybe my nose is used to it but it's still a shame for the hotel. And disturbing for residents. - Lack of socket next to the bed. Bedside lamp, 1 socket so it's not possible to charge your cell phone at night. - Planes pass by during the day but this is not disturbing at night because at max at 11 p.m., there is no more traffic so at night, it remains relaxing even.

The hotel is clean but the facilities are worn-out. Breakfast is just awful. The stuff is very polite and helpful. The location is fantastic. It was correct for the price, but definitely not a 4-star level. Could be a bit of noise from the road, but the windows are well-isolated. The air-condition works well. Not a bad choice for short stays!
