The location was fantastic, and the breakfast was incredibly delicious! However, there were stains on the duvet, which was a bit disappointing. Also, we wanted to dine at the hotel's ground-floor restaurant at 7 PM and had asked the staff to make a reservation for us the day before. But when we arrived, we found out the reservation was made for a different restaurant right next door, not the one we requested. The employee who made the mistake didn't even apologize. Another staff member, who was very apologetic, offered to rebook us for a different time slot. I think if the person who made the error had simply apologized, I would have felt much better. That really left a bad taste in my mouth and was quite a letdown. If only the bed linens were spotless and the apology for the mistake had been handled better, I would have been completely satisfied!

CNXGIn order to check in the small towns around Interlaken, this time I chose the town of Murren as the foothold of the Schilthorn Peak. After choosing for a long time on Ctrip, I still chose the newly opened Palace Hotel with relatively complete facilities.
Facilities:
It is equivalent to the five-star standard at the top of the mountain. There are a series of supporting facilities such as the city swimming pool, fitness center, banquet hall, etc. It took a long time to find the swimming pool, and I mistakenly entered the entrance of the sports club. In fact, the hotel has a special passage and changing room, as well as shower facilities.
The room is relatively large for Switzerland, but there is a diagonal beam in the middle that affects the perception and walking space. The dry and wet areas are too far apart, which is actually not very convenient when using. The wet area also lacks wastepaper baskets and other items that affect use.
Hygiene:
The public areas and rooms are very clean, mainly because it has just opened not long ago, and the smell of new decoration in the corridor is still relatively strong. There are still signs of unfinished renovation on the outside, especially there is garbage on the ground, and it will be muddy on rainy days.
Environment:
Needless to say, facing the snow-capped mountains and cliffs, the weather was just average on the day we checked in, so it affected the whole experience.
Service:
The central heating was turned off in May, but it was only five or six degrees on the mountain, very cold, shivering in the room, there was no partition in the shower area, so it would be cold to take a shower. There was no electric kettle, so we had to rely on the Delonghi coffee machine to boil water, but the one in our room was also broken.
In general, the room price of around 3,000 is understandable for a small town on the top of the mountain, but the facilities could be better.

The hotel is uphill at the other end of grindelwald, not too close to Grindelwald station and Coop, fortunately the door is bus 121, 122, 123, but at first I saw Google map that it was a 15-minute walk from the train station only, but I knew it was quite hard to push luggage up the slope
Fortunately, it is close to Pfingstegg and First cable car stations, and Jungfrau must either take bus 121, 123 or train to Grindelwald Terminal station, change to the Eiger Cable car, or go to Grindelwald station and take the Train to Kleine Scheidegg
Although I live up to 4/F, the room has no air conditioning, so insects have entered the room🫨
But the scenery is beautiful, the room is big, the worst thing is no refrigerator, can only cook the noodles in the room
Breakfast itself thought there was very little food, but you can order hot drink and egg separately, which is quite good
Although seeing hotel restaurant dinner seems to be praised by many people, but too expensive, the cheapest is the 4-course menu d fine din, have to over CHF100

Guest UserWe’ve booked a room with a stunning view of Mount Eiger. Relaxing on the balcony and soaking in the breathtaking panorama is simply amazing. If you’re carrying luggage, they can arrange for a pickup service. The breakfast is a delightful experience, offering a wide range of options, including the option to order a freshly made omelette.

Not close to the train station or lift station. Requires a pretty good uphill walk. About 15-20 min walk uphill from train station, and about 10-15 min walk from the ski lift/gondola. But once you get there, the location is beautiful. The hotel does offer a shuttle/e-car/bus transport. It's quiet, overlooks the town, views of the mountains, perfect secluded space. Hotel is clean, rooms are beautifully designed, compact but functional. Beds are comfortable, loved the rooms. We had a family room which was perfect for our family of four. The family room consists of two separate rooms across from each other in the hallway. In the hallway, there was a private entrance that brought you into the space where the two rooms were located. We loved this, because it turned our hallway between the two rooms into a foyer. Service was attentive and detailed. Loved the welcome beverage at check-in - nice touch, set the tone for the rest of the stay. Bar was cute and menu was creative. Patio deck restaurant was a perfect place for lunch. Amazing view of town and mountains, outdoor kitchen. Restaurant was great - food and service were wonderful. Breakfast was lovely. We do wish they would have changed up a couple things each day, because it was the same thing every day. Pool/Spa area was amazing. It had everything - sauna, steam room, plunge pool, two lounge pools, hot tub, showers. Caution: remember we are in Europe, some people may enter some of the facilities nude. We are personally not accustom to that, so it was definitely a little alarming for our children to see grown adults around naked. It would not be a bad idea for the hotel to have a policy around nudity or at least warn guests at check-in, on the website, or with signage. Wengen was our favorite place we visited on our tour of Switzerland, will be back, and when we come back it will be at this hotel.

QIANIt’s about a 10-minute walk from the train station, which is not very far, but it’s a little tired if it rains with a suitcase. It takes only 2 minutes to walk to the First cable car station, which is very convenient. It is worth mentioning that if you choose to include dinner when booking the hotel, it is really super cost-effective ~ delicious and rich, every day I will seriously post menus everywhere, and I am responsible for saying that this is the level of Fine Dining, such a dinner Any restaurant should be above 120 francs per capita. The restaurant environment is also nothing to say, the service quality is very good ~ excellent experience, rich breakfast, worth the price, super recommended. They also gave home-made potato chips when they left. If it is not enough, it may be that the facilities in the room are average~ but it is very clean, the balcony is facing the mountain, beautiful!

Beausite Park Hotel & Spa boasts a beautiful location with lovely grounds, but be warned: the walk up from the Interlaken West train station is brutal with luggage. Definitely communicate with the hotel in advance to arrange a transfer - you'll thank me later!
Once you're there, the staff is truly wonderful - attentive, helpful, and always smiling. They are a real credit to the hotel. However, the overall atmosphere felt a little...stuffy. The other guests seemed a bit reserved and formal, which may not appeal to everyone.
The spa facilities are excellent and well-maintained. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful views and top-notch service (from the staff!), this could be a good choice. Just be prepared for a potentially challenging arrival and a slightly more formal ambiance than you might expect.

Absolutely stunning hotel! This place was nestled in such a gorgeous location! The view from the front of the hotel overseas lake Brienz. And the waterfall on the other side is a wonderful sight to explore. The hotel is historic, and due to that, they have some limitations on amenities. The rooms do not have centralized air. It was certainly not a deal breaker for us, but we did get warm during the day. The TV’s in the room were also small, and didn’t have access to the internet. Again, not a huge deal!
The staff was by far the most kind and helpful people we met during our trip to Switzerland! Absolutely incredible!
If you are visiting to see some Crash Landing On You sights, this hotel is almost perfectly in the middle of some major location. The landing dock is only 20 minutes away, and the panoramic bridge is about an hour. Though the drive to both locations was beautiful and well worth the time spent!
I would highly recommend this hotel, and certainly the restaurant! The food was spectacular and gave is that sense of royalty!
