Pokolbin Hotels with Pools

We stayed at The Carriages Boutique Hotel and Vineyard and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. This was a place I’d wanted to stay at for a long time, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The location was beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature, birdlife, and the quiet atmosphere of the Hunter Valley. On our first night, we even had the whole property to ourselves, which made the experience feel extra special. We enjoyed a lovely dinner nearby and were able to walk back through the gardens to the hotel afterwards, which added to the charm of the stay. Breakfast was simple but perfect, delivered in a basket and ideal for a relaxed morning. One of the best moments was lighting the fireplace on our final night and enjoying a quiet evening with a glass of wine. The location, service, atmosphere, and overall experience were all fantastic, and this will definitely be one of our fondest memories from the trip.

It was a lovely stay. Nice room, clean and tidy, the complimentary drink was a nice gesture. The property is huge and peaceful for a relaxing walk around. It's convenient to wineries and restaurants. The only thing didn't really work for us was the air conditioner, couldn't figure out how to turn it on.

A very satisfying reservation. The manor is very beautiful and has its own golf course club, so it is very large. But because it is so large, it took some time to find the front desk (next to the nineteen restaurant), and the instructions were very clear afterwards. A large one-bedroom and one-living room with its own kitchen. The bathroom has a large bathtub. The room has its own garage and a small garden (you can sit outside and drink tea, very lifelike). The disadvantage is the service. The room I booked has a sofa bed that I have to make myself, and the four trash cans at the door were not clearly classified and were not explained.

We truly loved the whole experience offered, from the individual chalets in the midst of the woods, to the kangaroos at our doorstep, to the wines offered at deeply discounted prices in the fridge and the comfortable beds. Locationwise, it is very central as many vineyards, Hunter Valley Gardens and restaurants are just 5-10minutes drive away. Definitely will stay here again should we return to this region

Elysia is a beautiful retreat set atop a hill overlooking the Hunter Valley. I was doubly impressed by the pools, gyms, and health facilities. They helped balance out the effects of the nearby wineries. Also, the rooms are huge and recently renovated.

Good breakfast, the location of the hotel is better in the Hunter Valley, surrounded by wineries, convenient to travel friends on the hot air balloon the next day, the hotel is very special

Had a fantastic stay at Harrigan’s Hunter Valley, where the comfortable accommodation and relaxed pub-style vibe made it the perfect base for exploring the region. All the top wineries are conveniently close by, just a short drive or walk away, including spots near Hunter Valley Gardens, allowing easy access for tastings and sightseeing without long travels. The food at the bistro was decent — hearty pub meals in a lively atmosphere with live music—creating an unbeatable evening vibe after a day out. Highly recommend for anyone seeking convenience, good eats, and that classic Hunter Valley charm.

The entrance to the room is in the wild. When it is 2 pm, the kangaroo sleeps under the shade of the trees. Then there is a seating area outside the room, which is very comfortable. Children can run in the grass and play with the branches, so happy. In the afternoon, I went to the nearby supermarket to buy some burdock food. The two families made their own dinner, which was very casual and very holiday. The day of the stay is a sunny day. In the evening, you can create a photo. Under the setting sun, the tree shadow is beautiful. If you are lucky enough to catch the kangaroo, the picture is very interesting. In the evening, when you leave the room, you can see the stars in the sky. The Milky Way is clearly visible. The mobile phone broadcasts a quiet little music. It is a step with the loved ones. Stay for a while, don't be too romantic.

Great location, several wineries very nearby. The owners were helpful to check us in remotely using key pin and drop box. The pool and grounds are relaxing on a warm day after touring the valley. The property looks “rustic”, in keeping with provincial charm. everything functioned well and we hope to rebook on future visits.

The hygiene is average. There are mosquitoes and flies in the room, but there is no mosquito repellent. The breakfast buffet has few varieties and choices, only scrambled eggs, bacon, mushrooms, bread, cereal, juice, coffee and a small amount of fruit. It is very average. There were not many guests for breakfast in the two days.
