Overnight stay on route to Knysna. Very convenient location, within 5 min walk of some lovely restaurants. The guesthouse accommodated my late arrival and I found my room key with clear instructions on how to find my room and sign into wifi. I see others have complained about the mattress being hard (which it is), however, I found this to be comfortable and had a great night sleep. I particularly enjoyed the great souh african bacon served at breakfast, not the streaky stuff we get in Canada - yes, I'll admit I had double helpings! All round, a pleasant stay. Thanks Aan de Eike staff

Very good value stopever.
Very good value stopover hotel. Good, clean room with outside space and a lovely area to sit by the pool. Secure parking on site.

What a pleasant hotel. We stayed overnight on our way to Sedgefield and enjoyed the stay very much. The room was air-conditioned which was great as it was steaming hot the day we ere there. Breakfast was buffet affair and the food very good. If you want to explore Swellendam or just overnighting, I recommend the hotel. The staff were very good as well. It is also well located.

Nice place
Lovely staff, food and overall appearance of the property. Nice bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Great location and parking. We found the bed a little too hard and the rooms are not well insulated from the noise of neighbours.

Super schönes Hotel mit familiärem Flair. Super freundliches Personal mit klasse Service (wir bekamen sogar unser Auto gewaschen). Gutes Frühstück mit qualitativ hochwertigen Speisen. In der Umgebung befinden sich einige Restaurants, die sich auch nachts noch sicher fußläufig erreichen lassen.

The place was amazing!! Super clean, amazing beds and great pool!! Breakfast in the morning was amazing and staff were super friendly! Will definitely stay here again
