Very good value for money. Pretty rooms and quiet area of Swellendam but everything within reach. Excellent breakfast and facilities and a very nice, helpful owner.

What a beautiful environment, kind people and great place. We enjoyed our stay all though it was just for one night. The room was big with enough space for our luggage.

Wir verbrachten eine Nacht im Bergview Guesthouse. Die Gastgeberin Lidia war sehr herzlich, freundlich & aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich & sauber. Die Lage war optimal. Das Frühstück war reichlich & liebevoll zubereitet. Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl & sehr gut versorgt. Deshalb können wir die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.

We experienced a delightful stay at this lovely Guest House. Conveniently situated, allowed us to explore part of Swellendam. Our hosts were kindness personified, very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast after a comfortable night too was excellent.

Overnight stop en route to Cape Town. Second time I have stayed at Bergview - it is a most pleasant experience. Great sized room, comfortable bed, nice shower and all the simple facilities that you need for an overnight stay. Handy to local facilities and eateries. Very friendly and most welcoming.

We spent one night at Bergview on our road trip and stayed in Delft, the smallest of the rooms. We found the room to be perfectly good for the night - clean and tidy with a comfy bed, a kettle and hospitality tray. Despite being away when we stayed, Lidia kindly offered to make our dinner reservation. Great to be able to safely walk back after supper. We met Brent and the lovely Veronica who prepared our breakfast. Good value for money.
