The hotel room was disgusting. There were stains on the mattresses, dints all over the fridge, 2 towels were left for 4 guests, 2 blankets, 3 pillows. The front door of the building was smashed. The dishes were not clean. I ended up staying at a hotel across the street and am trying to get a refund from Sunset island resort. I have no idea how this place got 3 or 4 stars.

SUPER amazing was the location, so close to everything, great views from the Motel. Staff were exceptional and the rooms were classic for a motel close to the beach - lovely pops of colour. Had a really great night sleep in the beds which were lofty and very luxe. Extra clean and tidy was the entire Motel. Night time checkin and early check out was easy. Next time will book further out - would love to return and stay longer than a few nights - too hard to leave!

Avoid this so called hotel it needs a major make over smashed tiles in the bathroom no tv in your room no aircon and not even a fan the so called new carpet is just old carpet squares that have been stuck over the old dirty carpet ants in the bed and on the walls on arrival honestly the only good thing about this place is its locationl
