When we arrived the receptionist was very welcoming and explained easy to understand rules and such and was very helpful.
Definitely would recommend this hotels for families/couples!

Advantages: Standard river view room, wide view, the attached street view is the view from the window next to the dining table, the view is great; the room is large enough, the sofa bed in the living room can be set up without hindering walking and eating; tableware and cooking utensils are complete, it is very convenient to cook. Disadvantages: The facilities are old, there is no 24-hour front desk, there are towels, bath and shampoo products, but no toothpaste, toothbrush, shower cap, slippers... (Australian hotels don't seem to have these "small five items") It is both an advantage and a disadvantage: It is very close to the core business district and the main beach, and it is very convenient to eat out or take away. But because it is close and must pass by, young people who go to hi in groups on weekends pass by downstairs one after another, singing and dancing, and it is quiet after 1 o'clock in the middle of the night. It is not very friendly to parent-child families.

* Location (Central to every where)
* Great view (Riverview from 8th floor was excellent)
Cons
* Run-down room (room seems old and not maintained well. Even had a cockroach)
* Interrupted sleeps (windows are thin and not blocking street noise. Kept on waking up to police and fire brigade sirens)
