Waterman Svpetrvs Resort - All Inclusive

This resort is perfect for families and has everything we need to relax with our children. The animators, bartenders, chefs, and staff do their best to make everything perfect. We would especially like to praise the hotel management, who always give us a warm welcome. Tomicic family

We are staying 2 weeks (July) in an apartment at Waterman Supetrus Resort. We are still there while writing this review. Positives: - Nice location very close to the sea. - Very close (10 min walk) from the town of Supetar. A cute little town. - Nice outdoor environment with pools, sun beds, green. - Rather good entertainment by different animation teams. - Rooms are simple/basic but clean and functional. In a very large bathroom there were no hangers (except one) and no cabinets. The closets were insufficient and badly placed. Negatives: - The food is the worst I have eaten. No variety (2 weeks of the same food), very poor quality and all is fried and full of oil. On a place on the sea side there is always one type of fish and is clearly not fresh (probably frozen ages ago) and tastes bad. Nothing tastes good, meat of the poorest quality. There is no choice, just potatoes in various forms, pulled pork every day, basic pizza, overcooked pasta with one type of sauce which is horrible, nearly no choice of fruit (oranges and water melon every day), disgusting sweets. We got food poisoned (or caught a stomach bug) and were sick for 2 days. - Choice of drinks ok but the wine is horrible. In general I recommend it for a shorter stay, max 1 week. Do not buy the food package but rather go and eat out (there are plenty of choices along the beach and in town.

Positives , great location near the beach , easy walk to lovely Supetar , rooms clean , food good but repetitive Negatives , not ALL inclusive , decent coffee , beach towels , decent ice cream , paddle ,Lennox pool all extra , as AI you can only eat at one restaurant, . A lot of the staff rude , was checked in given my key but had to ask where the room was . I asked about facilities etc , she said scan this QR code and she didn’t know as she was a receptionist. Everyone seemed very blunt and felt a little like fawlty towers . Went to the adult entertainment first evening was advertised as ‘ dance show , with a picture of Latin dancers . Hardly anyone there and when it started nd was invited to do the conga I realised why and never went back . NO security. Anyone can walk into the resort and they do to get beach spots .

We arrived at the hotel after midnight, and there was a member of staff waiting for us just outside to show us where to park and where to check in. The room was spacious, and it was lovely to have a separate bedroom and second bathroom. The Lennox pool is advertised on their website as being heated, and so we paid to go in. The pool felt we were diving into an ice bath, absolutely freezing. We felt like we wasted our money. You also have to pay for drinks as the AI is excluded. The All Inclusive drinks are not good. It's like they are using the cheapest soft drinks on the market. Our son would not drink them, and we found paying an extra 2 euro for the named brand every time he wanted a drink. The alcohol wasn't much better, and again, we ended up paying more for the better drinks. The food was okay. I think the restaurant would benefit from a 'kids' corner' area, whereby there is a children's selection of pasta, chips, nuggets, etc. We booked this hotel for seven nights. However, we checked out just over a day early as we felt the hotel was just trying to 'do everything on the cheap' and we wanted a night in a hotel that felt like an actual four star hotel. On checking out, we were asked how our stay was or the reason for us checking out over a day earlier. None of the staff gave that 'personal experience feeling', and it felt like they didn't really want to be there. I think the hotel is okay for a few nights, but we felt a week was too long. On a positive note, the kids' club staff were absolutely lovely and made our stay a little more enjoyable. We stayed here the last week in May. We wouldn't return to this hotel.

Service was not good, we didn’t get almost any info on anything, like where is the breakfast. The employees were kinda rude. There was also mold in our room’s bathroom. The area was beatiful and breakfast ok. Beach and pools were really nice and enjoyable.
