Wyndham Garden Summerville

The place was very dirty. Carpets definitley need replacing. The outside also looked rundown and the owner/corporate needs to invest in updating or cleaning up the property. Not what I was used to with Wyndham hotels. The bartender and receptionist were very friendly and helpful.

The Wyndham Garden in Summerville has a major issue. We checked midafternoon on Friday, visted with family and returned to our room late in the evening. Upon walking into our room, I slipped on the floor and almost fell. In turning on all the lights we realized that the floor was soaking wet throughout the room. We informed the front desk and they moved us immediately to another room. We woke up Saturday morning to the same issue in the new room. The floor again was totally wet, soaking the socks we had on our feet and my wife almost fell. Everything on the floor was soaking wet. It would appear to me the the hotel has a major condensation issue. We checked out 1 day in advance and will never stay with Wyndam again. Would not give us a discount on the room. Very unpleasant experience and the hotel employees did not seem to care as it this was an every day experience.

Caught diseases from the pool. Room was disgusting hallways and elevators were nasty. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Still recovering. Would not recommend. Stay somewhere else. Wyndam needs to redo this whole hotel and clean the pool. Very disappointing

A wonderful stay. Restful, quit, clean, good food, pleasant service,well lit parking. There are no bad things to say a great motel. I would recommend to everyone. The front desk staff seemed to enjoy the job had a lot of fun with us. Not one complaint can I think of not one. Thanks to the staff for such a pleasant experience.

Terrible stay. Not worth the money I paid. Room were small and rusted. Breaker kept going in and out and the toilet kept clogging. And they did not fix anything.

Overall, the hotel was decent. The electrical outlets in our room were not covered and could pose a fire or shock hazard. The pool, on such a warm weekend, should have been prepared for the event that was being held at the hotel, it was closed for the duration of our three day weekend.

The staff didn't care that my safety and my girlfriend's safety was at risk. They didn't take the time to listen to or look into what I was trying to express to them. As things escalated the found a way to make me the scapegoat and used all that I complained/expressed to them as reasons to expel me from that establishment

Hotel appeared very nice from reception and check in area. The rooms were a whole different story. Dirty floors, dirty mattress pads, broken toilets and walls. Ceiling looked as though it had been repaired multiple times. The staff were very nice and breakfast was great. For the price we paid per night we expected a nicer place.

Pros- cost, pet friendly, friendly staff, nice ho breakfast, convenient off I-26 w/lots of restaurants nearby. Cons: room HVAC was very noisy especially when the heater kicked in, glass entrance leading to lobby smelled of smoke because smoking area was immeduately adjacent outside, beds not that comfortable, small portion of the base board in our room was peeled off the wall exposing the dry wall and other misc. debris. Health hazard. Our 1st and last time stay. There are a plethora of adjacent hotels to this one.
