Das Hotel ist ca. 10 Minuten fußläufig vom Zentrum entfernt. Von hier aus kann man einige Unternehmungen starten. Das Hotel ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es ist in allen Bereichen sehr sauber und ordentlich. Wir hatten die Baumwipfelsuite, diese war sehr schön eingerichtet und geräumig. Das Bad ist auch geräumig und die Dusche ist klasse. Die Matratzen sind auch super, man kann sehr gut schlafen. Der Balkon ist auch sehr schön. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist sehr vielfältig und für jeden etwas dabei. Geschmacklich, wie qualitativ sehr gut. Auch das Abendessen war richtig klasse. Auch hier geschmacklich, wie qualitativ sehr gut. Auch sind die Portionen nicht gerade klein. Hier wird mit viel Liebe gekocht und das schmeckt man. Großes Lob an die Küche. Das gesamte Team war super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Hier ist ein klasse Team am Start. Man kann sich hier richtig wohlfühlen und genießen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Hotel ist insgesamt sehr schön, sauber, freundlich, und bietet viel zu einem wirklich angemessenen Preis. Das Restaurant ist überraschend gut, sehr freundlich und kompetent, und angenehm belebt (alles andere als ein typisches Hotel-Restaurant, das nur von wenigen Hotelgästen besucht wird, weil es völlig überteuert drei Standard-Gerichte anbietet). Angebot und Qualität sprechen für ein gehobenes Restaurant, welches auch von Nicht-Hotelgästen gut angenommen scheint - zu recht!

Ich hatte das Arrangement „Raus aus dem Alltag“ für 2 Nächte im ASAM Hotel gebucht. Dieses Arrangement enthielt die Übernachtung in einem großzügig & geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmer, ein leckeres Frühstück auf der Terrasse bzw. im Biergarten des Hotels sowie ein vorzügliches 3-Gänge-Menü am Abend. Die Begrüßung war herzlichst und ich habe mich als Gast während meines gesamten Aufenthaltes sehr willkommen & wohl gefühlt. Die vom Hotel zur Verfügung gestellten Leihräder sind super in Schuss und für eine faire Tagesmiete verfügbar. Es gibt ab Straubing wunderbare Radwege entlang der Donau. Das ASAM Spa besuchte ich an einem Abend und hatte es komplett für mich alleine. Es verfügt zusätzlich zu diversen Saunen und Ruhebereichen (tolle Dachterrasse mit gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten) auch noch über einen Jacuzzi im Freien mit verschiedenen Sprudelfunktionen & Lichteffekten. Vielen Dank an alle Mitarbeiter für ihr Engagement und ihre Freundlichkeit! Ich komme definitiv wieder :-)
