Gute Erreichbarkeit in der Nähe von Stoneheaven, komfortables Zimmer, ruhig gelegen… gerne wieder, falls wir Schottland noch einmal bereisen würden! Sehr freundlicher und unkomplizierter Empfang, hilfsbereite Gastgeber ( Tipps und Reservation von Restaurants, köstliche kulinarische Überraschung bei der Ankunft im Zimmer und grossartiges schottisches und kontinentales Frühstück.

We liked most things, it was well organised and little touches had been added to make one's stay as pleasant as possible. The owners were very friendly and told us about the surrounding area and even booked dinner for us at a local hotel. We would have preferred a larger bed but that was only a small point.

We had a wonderful stay here! Michelle and David were both very welcoming and interesting. We had a very clean confortable and spacious room with great amenities. Wonderful breakfast with lots of choice! The location is absolutely beautiful. Can't recommend it enough! Thank you

Wir hatten einen ganz tollen Aufenthalt hier. Das Gastgeberpaar war ganz lieb und hat uns sehr willkommen geheißen. Wir hatten jeden Tag ein Stück Kuchen auf dem Zimmer, was voll lieb war. Das Frühstück wurde frisch zubereitet, auf Bestellung. Die Wartezeit wurde mit einem leckeren Pfannkuchen verkürzt. Wir hatten jedenfalls eine gute Zeit hier und Stonehaven ist wirklich eine ganz tolle, kleine Stadt.

What a lovely place to stay - we came with our friends for a couple of nights and we couldn’t have been made more welcome. The rooms were lovely, comfortable and clean. Both Michelle and David were excellent hosts serving a delicious breakfast that set us up for the day. Only a short drive from Stonehaven where there are lovely places to have an evening meal. Visited Dunnottar castle and the rspb site nearby. We all hope to return one day.

What a wonderful place to stay this is. Michelle made us feel so very welcome and also David was very helpful and realy interested in us. We had a very large room , very nice as we stayed for 4 night. The things you want from a b and b are all there: clean, good bed, nice shower. But here there was much more than this. Every day there was a treat ready for you in your room( made us feel so very welcome), there are nice chairs to sit in ( I always appreciate that because you don’t have to sit on your bed. And the breakfast, don’t get me started . It is like a 5 star restaurant, every morning Michelle asks what you want and all of it is delicious.And also David is there in the morning to help you pick out where to go and knows a lot about the surroundings. So if i had to recommend a b and b around there i would absolutely say go to Chapel of Barras.

This is a great little bed and breakfast, out in the middle of farming country in rural Scotland. We were there to explore several of the little villages out that way, so this was the perfect location! Breakfast was terrific, the room was spacious and cozy. We'd definitely stay here again!
